Having called four times over a five-day period and chased consistently for a response, I finally had to find another notary. I was assured I would hear back within four hours of making my initial enquiry, and asked to email for good measure, which I did after each call. I lost valuable time that I could've saved if I'd known I was waiting in vain. Ultimately, I would rather have been told that they are not interested in assisting or the time for a response is x number of days, so I could've made a decision much earlier on.
