It's always a treat to look round any Robert Dyas store and this is a good one. A few weeks ago I was delighted to find a GoTravel brand eye mask just like my own, something I'd had no luck finding before. It's worth noting that the GoTravel rack in Robert Dyas was much better stocked than the local branch of John Lewis! Something else I'd not been able to find for ages was a spring-wired pop-up up bag - so useful for supporting a green waste bag while gardening! - and there they were, two of them! I didn't buy one then as there were only a few left and ours isn't quite decrepid; the staff assured me that it's a seasonal item so I've got a photo and a reminder on my phone for next May so that's sorted! Thank you, Robert Dyas!

Friendly and helpful assistants in an interesting collection of household hardware. If it's not in the shop then it's probably online. Competitive prices and an alternative to the usual megastores.

Good variety of hardware and kitchenware albeit a bit pricey for some things, but there are plenty of bargains if you look. Now has a Ryman office store co-located with it.

Bought a fly screen that was too large for our door and could not be cut down. This was not apparent until we opened the pack. We are 50 miles from the nearest branch so emailed customer services for advice. After a week nothing has been heard.

Really good helpful friendly service and staff. I had help from a lovely member of staff with my shopping list. She found all the products I needed and put them in the trolley for me.I bought a home shopping trolley from there. It's one you can use to get up steps easily. Only£24.I love this shop.

Robert Dyas is a chain store, so Solihull differs little from the other outlets such as the one in Stratford upon Avon. There is a large range of domestic goods, including electrical equipment such as kettles. It is also possible to buy IT items such as leads and adapters. Other merchandise is reminiscent of traditional hardware stores. The goods are clearly displayed, although the gangways between the shelves could be wider. Service is very good. The small queues at the checkouts were handled quickly and efficiently. Although the access is suitable for wheelchair users, the store is located on a street where there is no parking

Tried to ship a dhl parcel and the staff weren’t well trained at all. First guy didnt know how to do it so didnt even attempt. Second guy gave up when he entered the parcel number and the system rejected it.I went to titan storage instead and the guy there rang dhl straightaway to help solve my issue and was a lot more switched on. Would recommend them instead if you’re shipping dhl.

can't even shop with my mom in peace ,shop assistant brought another customer and themselves right behind me and my mom in the small tichy isle during covid aswell, how pathetic can you get, the other customer was pretty dumb themselves stating to maintain 2 metres,don't come in the isle if it's full and wait then ya dumb person

Dealt with Nick the manager , what a pathetic miserable man, that finds pleasure mocking customers when he is in the wrong. Couldn’t even process a simple refund. Won’t be returning anytime soon.
