Moxy Slough

As a local online reviewer, one of the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Booked for two nights, requested a birthday decoration for my partner. I even called in to make sure the request was fulfilled. They confirmed over the phone that the room will be decorated as per the request and special decor would be added. However, upon arrival nothing as requested or promised had been done. They offered me a free drink and desert instead. Then I took a shower at round 1 am and brushed my teeth to find out that the sink over flows. I tried my best to plunge the sink with my hands but didn’t work. Now, I have to wait till 8 am to 10 am in the morning to be sorted out with this issue.

I have been here for a couple of work lunches and the food is really nice and reasonably priced.The place is clean and modern and the staff are friendly and attentive and have accommodated us a few times now and we will certainly be back.

Great location, everything is within easy access, shopping, train station, Thorpe park etc. Room was great, clean and modern the bed was also super comfortable. The only thing that couple be improved upon in the room is storage!The staff were super friendly, nothing was to much bother. I’d Definitely recommend staying here! Also note pets are welcome.

If Google did hotels! Eclectic decor, funky and fun. Rooms are spacious and comfortable beds. Breakfast was basic but really nice. Wasn't keen on the location especially as you have to park 5 minutes away.

Great place to stay not far from the airport. The area is far.enough away from busy London where prices are great with breakfast included. Angelo Jaques was a great help. All of the staff were wonderful and kind

Rooms although small have a nice variation from a standard hotel room and are comfortable with all you need. Public areas nice with a funky vibe.Staff particularly at check in could have been more attentive.Location is decent with other places around about but not the most accessible by car.From the information given it wasn't clear the section of carpark was dedicated to hotel guests. While there was space on a Saturday night there is no control so may not always be the case and it's a bit of a walk away from the hotel with an odd one way system.

We had a fantastic time here when on a weekend visit to Thorpe Park. Rooms were clean and welcoming, as were the staff. The standout thing for us though, was the breakfast. It’s certainly the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time - keep up the great work guys!

Great room, decent food, nice cocktails. Loved the hotel theme and it's in a really convenient location and the best bit - value for money was incredible! Breakfast was included along with a free cocktail upon arrival.

Nice and simple hotel arts CJ RC to Residence Marriott. Services (cleaning room & amenities) are more simplistic which I think brings the cost down. Overall it’s a great option pace to stay for a work trip. Easy check in & you get a welcome drink chip. We were only able to use for the drink special (not very good) but it was a nice extra. The rooms are simple but clean and have everything you need. Hotel is connected to Marriott Residence so you can easily go there for drinks/dinner. Food at Moxy was so so. Pizza was good breakfast is basic (beans, sausage, hash, mushrooms, fruit, deli meat/cheese, bread, bagels) but they did have a pancake press which was cool (didn’t try it). Staff very helpful to book taxis or assist in any way. The dinning area also has games & chair swings which makes it a nice area for socializing.
