Really nice atmosphere, drink prices are to be expected a cocktail around the £9-13 mark. Kind of has an exclusive feel to the place, whilst you have to wait by the entrance to be seated down below. Definitely worth visiting if you're in the area. Very tasty drinks!

The service was excellent but its very over priced I felt. Restaurant is also quite noisy and people are close together. I guess it depends on your individual budget.

Very pleasant space. Great choice of wines and beers; even cigars. Prices are not for the faint hearted, but there is a selection to suit everyone. When you can find a barman that is!

We've been here before and had cocktails in the cellar which at that time was brilliant but they've since refurbished the place and closed the cellar cocktail bar and moved it upstairs. It used to have the dining area as you enter the front doors. What used to have the appearance of elegance and history, now looks like a modernised pub like every other pub.The Dark and Stormy cocktail was awful. No ginger ale in it, no sweetness. It was quite bitter and flat.The Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Good atmosphere but food and service seems to dip on Sundays. (No checking drinks or if food is okay during Sunday roast). Potatoes not great.Saturdays and special occasions are always 5 star

Excellent food- truffle fries and homemade bread with soup were absolutely incredible. Some of the best food I’ve had in England! Good cocktails. Also dog friendly lounge! Nice, laid back, but elegant atmosphere. Highly recommend for happy hour or snacks!

We went to The Angel Bar for my 37th birthday, and were not disappointed. There were 7 of us and we had a great evening. Good selection of cocktails.
