Craigmonie Hotel Inverness by Compass Hospitality

Staff were excellent, room was a great size, breakfast was good. Lovely bar and lounge, Decent parking. Dont expect a brand new hotel but you will have a very relaxing visit and great sleep.

The Craigmonie was a very charming hotel. I think it fits in very nicely with Inverness. It is close to the city center, ness walk trail, and the train/bus station. The staff were very cheerful and super helpful. We arrived a bit early for our check in and our bags were held for us while we stopped at the bar to decompress from the travel of the day. Hazel assisted us in making a reservation that evening for dinner as well. This was very helpful since we are from the US and couldn't make a call on our phones. There was a nice selection of Whisky and beer. The chairs were very comfortable. The deserts we had were very delicious as well. The breakfast had so many options and was tasty and filling. Again, I can't say enough about quality of the staff.The room, bathroom and bed were large and comfortable. The temperature was comfortable in the room.At checkout, we were able to leave our bags there as we explored inverness and the surrounding areas for the rest of the day. Very helpful as Inverness is a bit hilly.

Wonderful hotel.Nice big rooms with everything you need. Clean and tidy.I am very satisfied with the staff, insanely kind and helpful people who will always help in everything. I am very grateful to them for this.

Lovely family qnd pet friendly hotel.Breakfast was delicious on the morning that we checked out.Staff are super friendly and chirpy.The only downside was that we were put in the Annex and had people above us and u can hear them walking about as the floor boards were very creaky. Room felt quite cold when we arrived. Not sure if it's on a timer set by the hotel but we turned the radiator up full but couldn't figure out how to turn it on.Hotel is in a great location.

Outdated building, maintenance much required. Housekeeping had to be requested. Restaurant: good portions but seemed reheated.Breakfast was quite good with lots of options. Bedroom and bathroom big and comfortable and clean! Staff was super nice and helpful. Good location near to the city centre. The pool was very clean, shower/changing area was a disaster. Overall OK.

It was a nostalgic trip to the Craigmonnie my friend in New Zealand her son came to stay for a few days and wanted to see the place his Mam and Dad worked his Dad helped build the leasure centre. We weren't sure if we would get in as it is acting as a home for Ukrainian people but we were met by a very nice woman who said it was fine to show our guest the leasure centre from what I remember she said the bar is still open and I'm sure they still do weddings it brought back lots of memories.

Had a very comfortable night in this hotel. Room very good (larger than I was expecting). Nice breakfast and a decent bar. Brilliant having a pool and sauna, although the changing rooms need some work doing to them.

A fairly large and clean room, comfortable bed, not the best water pressure in the en suite, great morning tea selection. A nice pool and sauna arsa as well.We parked and were able to to walk into downtown with ease.

This is a beautiful place! My father is the finance director of the company so I have come to this hotel with my family and it is on my best hotels list because its absolutely wonderful. The rooms are really comfy, staff are kind and caring, the swimming pool is pretty good aswell. Excellent location as its just near all the shops!
