Very good service from a vet for my 3 pets whom were not well behaved but she took it in her stride thankfully

Absolute waste of time!After rushing from work specially to take my elderly cat. I came away with no more information than I went in with. I spoke previously to another vet at their sister branch about my other pet and she was lovely. She was fully booked but recommended their branch in Lavister.Lavister vets is a complete let down.The vet basically shrugged, my cat has gone very thin and has lost control of his bowels!! He is in pain.No medication suggested or given. Just to give him more water - I do and he vomits it back up.Barely any communication about what it could be.Reception staff weren't the most pleasant either.Tried to make conversation got completely blanked - until they needed my payment that is. I have my own customer orientated business so I'm not exactly difficult to chat to! Won't be recommending to any of my customers I'm afraid.

Great vets, very friendly, always do the best for your pets.

I arrived with a challenge for this surgery. I brought a house mouse for neutering. The staff here were amazing and my tiny boy has survived his tiny neuter.

We had an excellent service with very caring people everyone is so friendly and kind to both the pets and to the owners would strongly recommend.

Beware always ask to see the medical notes before you leave. The vets looks for health conditions that are not present or why you are visiting the vet, a bit like a dodgy MoT centre looking for work that is not needed! Once on your medical record these ‘conditions’ become pre existing and you will not be covered if you move insurance provider, it will also make your current insurance skyrocket! I asked for the comments to be removed as my dog visited the vet with a skin allergy and the vet took it upon themselves to make a comment my dog has ‘almost no nostrils’ even though he was not there for breathing issues, he is no longer covered for anything respiratory due to these comments.The reception team at Lavister are not helpful and rude when dealing with you, I would not recommend.

I can not rate highly enough ...every single member of staff are fabulous , always helpful, always have your feelings at the forefront...always interested in what you have to say . I have never felt like they are not interested and if I need information , on anything, they arevwilling to advise and explain . top class
