We may have caught it on a quiet day when it perhaps was not as busy as it could have been, but the car park is big and appears to have adequate provision for a large number of vehicles. Also, the Welsh Highland Railway runs alongside it.

As P&Ds go, it's a good 'un. Lots of space. Railway visitors be aware that there's a pathway to the lhs before (what likely used to be by the time you read this) Wilkos that crosses the line and takes you to the river bridge via a quicker and much nicer route than via the petrol station.Worth loading the parking app - better than most, and of course you can top up remotely.

My new go to car park after being nabbed overtime on Wilko's car park and fined £85 for a couple of minutes over the hour despite shopping there...One of the most scenic carparks. Park to shop or park to walk along the Glaslyn

First of all, this is a car park, so don’t get too excited…Reasonably priced car park providing easy access to Porthmadog. At the end nearest Wilko (let’s hope they don’t shut down), you get a good view of the steam trains the town is famous for as they scuttle past.Getting back to Wilko, there is a walled off separate Wilko car park that is free of charge for limited time stays.You can use this car park to go on a train journey, go crabbing in the harbour, visit shops, walk along The Cob,etc.

Great long stay car park in Porthmadog. It cost me £3.30 for 8 hours. Its also very handy to start a walk of Porthmadog as its by a circular route.
