Sole Trader in Chantry Place, Norwich is a lovely friendly place to go get quality boots. Wasn’t too sure which were best suited for rainy bus stop wear but Katie the young lady assistant was very helpful and patient as admittedly i’m on the fussy side and they had to fit just right. Lovely to get such smiley, happy, helpful service, you are a credit to the shop. Thank you.

Hounded... Hounded... Hounded!!!!!Seemed rather keen (desperate) for selling, it would be interesting to know what the targets they are set!

My boyfriend and i walked into this shop recently as I was looking to treat myself to some Adidas trainers. As we were looking round I spotted some shoes my friends may have liked so just took a picture as I was going to post on social media (advertise the shop and shoes). A lady came over to see if I needed any help to which I replied 'No thank you I'm just looking at the minute' she then rudely said 'and in future if you want to take a photo could you just ask first'. Because of her attitude we walked straight out and purchased my Adidas trainers in a different shuh shop in Chapelfield.

Megan was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the range of products in the store. Thank you for good advice, excellent service and helping me find a great pair of boots.

Brought boots for £80~ did not last 3 months but crumbling and uncomfortable. Boots were useless and slipped easily on common surface close to the store. Did not get receipt in first instance as did not expect to need it. Worse shoes I've ever brought.

Good shop, staff constantly on your back, need to relax a little and let one team member deal with each customer, I had 4 different staff members approach me several times each. Looked very desperate.

Went to Sole Trader to buy some men's Timberland boots. The young lady who served us was rude, unhelpful, lazy and made us not want to buy the boots from the shop. She grudgingly went to get the boots in the size requested, she asked if we wanted to try them on with a tone that was loaded to imply that she did not want us to (?but yes of course we did?!) , handed us one boot and then sat down next to us, watching without speaking. We asked to try the other one one, she huffed and said that she had to do the laces on it as if this was the worst thing possible, didn't lace the boot anyway - just handed it to us to do. She then casually got up to grudgingly go and get some boots for another customer and left us to wait at the till for another member of staff to serve us.Not once did she smile, ask how the boots felt, or if she help with anything, there were no pleasantries from her at all. She may have been having a bad day, but if she is in a customer facing role, she has to maintain a polite manner. All in all it was bad service, we bought the boots, but won't go again.

My partner wished to return a pair of trainers that did fit her properly and the manager of the store treated my partner as if she was a criminal. He asked for her reciept, Which she presented to the manager, he then asked her for the emailed receipt, which she also presented to him. He then asked her if the bank card was hers in a very rude tone and proceeded to treat her unfairly and made her feel very uncomfortable. She couldn't get a word in as the manager was talking over her constantly and even made the other staff members in the store look uncomfortable. This person, who ever he may be, sets a very unprofessional example as a manager.Sole Trader itself should evaluate it's managerial expertise umongst it's staff as it will effect your sales. Very dissapointed

Popped in and asked the bored and disinterested-looking staff whether they had in stock any black toecap Oxfords, to which the response was: Oxfords? They're a type of brogue

I love my new VEJA Ladies Campo Canvas White/Beige trainers. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff at this shop, including the Manager, who were there to help, guide me and give me advice when purchasing my new trainers. It's the first pair of VEJA trainers that I have ever brought and it definitely won't be my last. For me, it's always a struggle to find comfortable trainers/boots/shoes as I am a size 7/8, with a wide foot and high instep. These trainers are just perfect for me and I have worn them out for a whole day and the comfort they give me is the best! Thank you again for all your help. I never realised that there was a shop in Norwich selling VEJA. Nothing beats to try on before you buy!
