Thank you to Jason and his friendly customer service. He was willing to drive over 30 mins to my home, measure up the stairs & landing, gave me a quote within 48 hours.Very communicative (by phone and WhatsApp) and also trusting with regards to payment. I was away on business travel when they came into to fit the carpet and let me pay the bill without any time pressure.Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I’d agreed for engineered wood flooring to be fitted in my lounge/dining room (cost £1786.23) as well as a carpet to be fitted on the landing and stairs (cost £594.69).The floor was fitted on 4th January date and took a few hours to fit. Due to unforeseen circumstances with our electrical wiring, the floor had to be brought up a few weeks later. Before beginning the electrical wiring, we approached John Seymour carpets to assist us in lifting the floors up and offered to pay for the services rendered as we knew it was an inconvenience for them to send another individual out to us.Rather than charging us, John Seymour carpets offered to bring up the floor and put it down again for free, his justification was that we were already spending a lot of money with them.Whilst in hospital, I received a call from Jason Seymour the owner; to say that they would have to charge me for putting the floor back down and that I would receive a quote. This quote never came! My wife and I proceeded as normal and awaited the rescheduled date for the carpet to be laid down.A few days prior to the date the carpet was to be laid down I received a phone call from John Seymour carpets, where it was agreed that if I paid for the carpet in advance of it being put down; they would put the floor down for free that Friday (Carpet payment made on 15 February/carpet fitted on 16 February). I subsequently paid the carpet fee immediately as I believed the work would be done in good faith on the Friday as agreed. On the Friday, the owner came to fit the flooring himself rather than the original fitter; as the fitter was at another job.The owner put down some of the planks of wood flooring and then mentioned that he needed to leave the job as he had an appointment in London to sort something out for his son. He also asked to take some scotia for another job and would return it. At the point of him leaving, none of the scotia within the room had been put back in and an entire row of flooring still needed to be fixed down again. Before leaving, he called the fitter who was supposed to finish the job within my home and told him not to come. Cheekily he left with my scotia and with the job uncompleted, asked me to call him the following week to remind him to come finish the work he promised!My wife called him on Thursday the following week and he said that we were too late for that week, he’d not have time to come do the work and he’d get back to us on a later date when he would complete the outstanding work (also returning and fitting my Scotia in tandem). On the 24th February he sent me a text to say I was booked in for the 10th March and whether that was ok. I responded to ask whether this could be done earlier as I had kept up my end of the agreement and paid early only for him to turn up and do half a job. He called me asking whether I was having a laugh by asking for an earlier date. The phone call became heated when I said yes. Subsequently, he dropped the phone on me and I heard nothing.Come the 10th March, no one turned up with either my scotia or to put the row and scotia back in. I called Jason who initially didn’t answer. I then called the shop, located in Crosskeys mews and spoke to a lady who then called Jason to confirm whether a job had been booked in for us. Jason rang me after and he said he was not going to do the job, proceeded to call me a liar to which I refrained from responding. He then continued to say that he could possibly do the job as long I was not home. I was offended by the suggestion that he would dictate what I do in my own home and the sheer cheek he had to suggest that I leave my home whilst he is there.I told him it was unacceptable and then told him I would post a negative review online as I was unhappy with the service and that he had no intention of returning my property to finish off a job he agreed to complete. At this point he threatened to sue me. Conversation broke down and I am posting this review (pictures below).

Just had a bedroom carpet fitted. Absolutely fabulous. No fuss and bother and very professional and reasonably priced. The fitters were in and out in no time and did a great job. Thank you. Highly recommended.

What a fabulous guy Jason Seymour is . My client has just had a job completed by him that she was sure was going to cause.a lot of mess and stress to her did it no she was absolutely amazed by the speed and effeciency of his work . 100% recommendation by us both Sharron and Vee x

Fantastic service! I my house measured, priced and fitted before carpet right bothered calling back! Jason made the pricing very simple and easy. There was no fuss about taking samples etc. The two men fitting were brilliant and had the bedrooms and the stairs done in 3 hours. Great service all round and would highly recommend them.

Can't rate Jason and the team highly enough! If you want new carpets this is the place to come. We love our gorgeous new carpet. The fitters were amazing and Jason helped us pick the right carpet for our home, bearing in mind we have a toddler and mess/spills will be inevitable. Thank you so much Jason and the team for being so patient with us while we fixed all our floorboards ready for the carpets to be laid. As soon as we're ready we'll be coming to you for our hard flooring downstairs.

Absolutely amazing, can’t recommend highly enough. Fitted carpet in two bedrooms within a week of our initial enquiry after we had been let down by SCS. Carpet looks brilliant.
