I was pretty disappointed - after reading their positive reviews, I was looking forward to having them out for a quote. However, they completely failed to return to two messages - the first at 13:45pm July 30 and the second at 9:54am July 31. If this level of responsiveness is at all indicative of their work, I think might have dodged a bullet hiring this firm for my project. Avoid.

I’ve just had two patio areas completed by monarch and I’ve got to say I’m absolutely thrilled how they have transformed my garden.Mike (the owner), kept in touch and made sure I was happy with the plans and wanted to ensure I was totally happy from start to finish and came out to speak to me personally.Simon and his team of Nathan and Callum worked non stop and honestly did a job that has exceeded my expectations with out doubt it’s gorgeous.They were professional, precise, and it felt like they honestly wanted to ensure I was totally happy throughout the work being completed.I realised they had real pride in what they do which I think is a bit of a rarity in this fast world.If you read this all at Monarch - Thankyou so much and well done - It was a pleasure.

Good company, with a 5 year warranty as well, ticks all the boxes, have checked their work as well, excellent.

Fabulous service despite the current climate, book in and have yourself a treat

Took four weeks for them to provide us with a quote after phoning and emailing.Initial estimate given at showroom on provision of photos and dimensions was £5000 to £6000 based on average materials.When the guy came to look at our drive we asked for some changes to be made to the path and paved area at the front of our house.I had to ring to get the quote and was told I would be emailed that afternoon, it never arrived, emailed again, quote came three days later. When the quote finally arrived there was no breakdown of cost, material or labour. The quote came £14,500 to almost £19,000.My husband emailed straight back for an explanation as to why the quote was three times more than but this company have chosen to ignore emails and not contact us. We can only assume that they didn’t want to do the job but instead of being professional and honest they chose to give us a extortionate quote or they saw where we live and thought they’d try it on and add a few thousand to the bill.I cannot and would not recommend this company based on our experience.Extortionate pricing, failure to provide quote and us having to chase for quotes. AVOID.

It took ages for the lads to do the work in the rain and cold. One of the workers left to price another job and the other guy didn't turn up at all. The workmanship was not very professional, my husband ended up going for an extra flag because they had damage one and since they left he has had to replace a lot of the stones because they had been left uneven. Would not recommend them.
