Came here the other day and was extremely disappointed by the staff. It didn't seem like any of them wanted to be there and no one was of any help. On our way through we also noticed lost of rubbish/litter around the area...not as nice as we were lead to believe.

Beautiful and quiet village. There's a gate also which is open during the day but when shut you cannot enter without a fob or code etc. Gates will open when you leave the village.

Very disappointed in Durrants. We had an interest in a property there but were told that even though my husband and myself are well over retirement age, we would not be able to buy a property because we have a 42 year old disabled son who lives with us and cannot live independently. By any understanding, this is discrimination. Unacceptable!

Moved a customer there and have to say, the little village is lovely well laid out and a great community as several of the residents came to speak to our customer as they were moving in and the cleaners and staff on site are very friendly and polite and chatty. The main building is very posh too and by the sound of it they have evening and events for the people that live on the village aswell....

My parents have lived here for a number of years, and regret moving to this village. The terms of the lease require a 10% exit fee and the service charge has to be paid until the property is sold after there passing. There are now a number of properties unsold at well below the original purchase price. The current manager (there have been three in the last five years) is rarely onsite living in Bedfordshire, my parents have experienced ageism from some members of staff and if you complain little is done.
