Arco Pizza & Fish Bar

I came to this place a few days ago for a “kebab” because it was late at night. It had closed when I tried to return the horrid so-called meat that had the taste and texture of cardboard with fat and the undercooked chips that appear to be cooked from the outside (a bit golden), but they are in fact cold in the inside. These are obviously frozen, but my guess these were semi-cooked with re-used cooking oil.I cannot believe I am saying for the first time how fortunate it is to have a McDonald’s nearby open 24 hr (by the castle marina).

I ordered a fish and chips through Deliveroo which never arrived, after I waited an hour for it. Some bloke picked up the phone after I called 5 times and said my order was on its way which was a lie. Then they didn't pick up anymore of my calls 30mins later. NOBODY should order from this place. Absolute shambles of a business.

Funnily enough, good food for the price, bad delay and service. I placed an order, only fish and chips (Think it was around £13, so not their biggest order, but still - business is business and we had used them many times for bigger orders in the past). It was promised within 45 minutes. 65 minutes later I called to ask if they had sent the order and was told it was 5 minutes away. Over 20 minutes after this I called again and was told it was on the way, but I could cancel due to their problems. I ordered the food at 8pm as I wanted to eat around 9pm and go out at 9:30pm, but at 9:30 - still no food, so I took up the offer from the polite person on the phone who offered as there had been delays to cancel the order. I thought it may be a one off and last night called through an order, but it seems even though it was there error, they wont accept any more orders from my address. This is annoying as the failed delivery which did end up turning up around 10 mins after it was cancelled was their error due to a problem with the driver and his mobile. They caused inconvenience of no food and me being late, but somehoe have blamed our property, this is not a good way to treat a customer, especially a previously regular customer. Shame. but with not good service, maybe its for the best. Spent £20,20 at Gourmet Chef instead and loved it.

Would give 0 stars if possible, chips were undercooked and cold but full of grease kebab meat was disgusting fritter was in a pool of grease I rang the takeaway to ask of a refund was possible or if they could re send the food and make it correct and I received an extremely rude response and they hung up on me whilst I was speaking my brother rang them and the same man picked up and continued to be rude and seemed to not accept that the food was awful. Poor quality food and bad service refused a refund because they would not send a driver out as it would cost them £2 I will not order from here again and I do not recommend any one order from here.

Sent chips and a fritter and chips and kebab through just eat. Chips weren’t cooked. Fritter paper thin and full of grease. Kebab meat was rank. When we asked for a refund they demanded that we *returned the food* because they weren’t prepared to pay £2 for a just eat driver to collect it. Pure idiocy. Worst service ever. Just issue the refund and do better next time. Shocking. Don’t use this place.

Delivery came on time but the food was lukewarm. On the phone, we specified that we d love the food to be hot but the respondent lied, which is quite upsetting. Ended up refusing the food and will never order from this place again. Good luck to their business

Disgusting food was all burnt and unedible would never recommend this place. Chicken was under cooked and smelt of fish probably cooked in the same oil as fish. Chips was undercooked and dry no taste whatsoever. Chicken burger was disgusting hope no one ever buys food from this place. The worst place to eat from in Nottingham.

Just picked up a portion of fish and chips, the batter was super thick and tastes weird, when I cut into the fish I could see why- it was uncooked on the inside plus there was some blue things all around it on the inside?? The chips were probably cooked this afternoon and reheated every time a customer came in, which is what the dude did when I came in. Do not recommend.
