I cannot believe there are 5 star reviews for this place. They can't be real. If you want to be ignored, endless stress, frustration, and to have your finances in an unknown state constantly, then these are the people. Honestly they have failed me more times than I can count. Which also doesn't seem to be their strong point. Avoid.

Nice people on the end of the phone but I was horrified by the margins - I feel I've been mis-sold - why is it necessary to take more then the taxman? that's a double whammy in this current climate. Not happy at all from now on I am only looking at FCSA registered umbrella's

Are apparently incapable of responding to a simple reference request, potentially costing someone not just 1 NHS job, but 4 due to other offers having to be turned down for a specific role.And yet when I try and email to chase it up, my emails get denied by the server. (Meaning my future employers have the same problem.)The level of stress your company" is causing me (without even realising it) is immense. Sort it out now."

BE VERY CAREFUL. BEFORE JOINING PEOPLE GROUP SERVICES REMEMBER THESE THINGS:1. Count the number of hours you work every day. Your agency will offer you a daily rate and they will pretend that you only work 6 hour days. In reality you will work longer than this, and your agreed daily rate might fall below the national minimum wage. Do not expect them to make the adjustments, even if you are submitting timesheets that clearly state the number of hours you are working.2. Even as an agency worker, you are LEGALLY ENTITLED to holiday pay. People Group Services will try to subtract your holiday pay from your daily rate. Do not let them do this.DON'T SELL YOURSELVES SHORT. These agencies rely on their young, naive employees not asking any questions, not knowing their rights, and not having the confidence to stand up to them. You have rights. Don't forget that.

I have worked with People group over the last 3 years. They have provided me with both flexibility and support, especially during the last few years. I have felt looked after in a way I didnt really expect at the time of the pandemic and resulting general business difficulties, thank you.

I came across a lot of teachers that didn’t receive a furlough payment or received it after being told they were not going to get anything. I was not one of those people (no stress), which is all thanks to People Group. They made the procedure as simple as it could be. Also, they ensured I received the highest amount for my furlough payment. Whenever I have had questions regarding my account, they have answered them swiftly and honestly. They hold themselves accountable for every penny. Keep up the good work! You absolute legends!

An excellent payroll company.I get a text each week before I’m paid.There is always a personal response to my emails, within 24 hours.The portal to access my payslips and p60 is easy to navigate, unlike some other payroll companies I could mention.The agreement to withhold a portion of my pay each week means I get holiday pay which is great for budgeting.Everything is done to make my life easier.The agency I’m working for gave me the option to invoice them direct or to use People Group Services. I’m so glad I chose the latter!

People Group Services have been excellent at providing a professional, efficient and incentive based payroll service. I have tried other Umbrella companies and this one by far is the best. Questions are always answered in a timely fashion, the points reward system is a great feature you can use for many resources and most importantly pay is always on time and clear cut. I would happily recommend People Group Services to anyone.
