We have used Apparent Properties for many years to rent out our flat. The whole team is an integral part of Barnes and is excellent to work with. They give sensible advice, as they have a lot of local knowledge, and work hard to ensure that longlasting tenancies are agreed that work for both landlord and tenant. I would highly recommend Apparent Properties.

We are coming to the end of an 11 year tenancy in Barnes which was managed by Apparent Properties. During this whole period Chris Peskett and his team managed all the issues that arose over this long period in a professional and timely manner. Not only were the contractors they worked with efficient and thorough, but Apparent made sure that our needs were met and our opinions taken into consideration ( eg selecting blind designs, wall colours etc). Apparent made for a very trouble free stay during this tenancy - Thank you!

We rented a property while we were doing building works and everything was just perfect!They negotiated a short term let for us, all was done very efficiently. The ladies were very sweet and a pleasure to deal with. And we got our deposit only days after we left. Lovely family business! I truly Recommend them

I've rented two properties from Chris Peskitt and his team and both times have received an excellent service. My daughter and I have loved both properties and feel well looked after should there be any issues - which is hugely important to me! The managing agent team are professional, responsive, friendly and also work with brilliant third parties for any work needed. Highly recommend Apparent Properties!

First of wish there was an option for 0 star reviews as this agency would get -5 starsI rented of these people for a year and it was no stop problems, they did not make me aware of the damp and serious mould issues that were at this property and that the last tenant had before I even moved in. I could show so many photos that would make u sick of the mould before and after I moved in to this property.The people that were responsible to deal with the problems were just as bad as the place itself•Chris Peskett owner of the agency and the landlord of the property one of the worst people I come across renting over 15 years. Did not seem to care about anything but getting the rent money.•Geraldine Martyn property manager very unprofessional, unreliable, never resolving the problems as it took 10 mouths of constant emails phone calls and pictures to get both Chris and Geraldine to take problems seriously and getting them to fixed the issue’s in the property and after moving out believe they are still not fixed.Fotis contractor a man who needs to think about a different line of work never did a good job always made excuses to not do a job took long periods of time to get around to do any work what we call in the uk a cowboy builder.To who ever needs to rent I strongly advise you not to use this agency unless u just want problems.

I would like to say that I have been using Apparent for over 8 years and the team there have provided me with nothing but top notch service over this time. Isobel, Kristina and Greta are always professional and are super accommodating. Highly recommend them if you are a renter or a Landlord!

Chris and his team at Apparent are excellent. We completed a purchase through Apparent in 2020 (mid lockdown and a sale out of probate, so not straight forward) and they were great. We are also renting through Apparent in Barnes for 2021/2 whilst we renovate our new house. Chris is very approachable and sensible and, as a Barnes resident, he has first class knowledge of the area and the market. They also offer good value for money.
