SPAR Bemerton Heath

I don't often write reviews but following the experience I had this morning I couldn't not.The lady I spoke to behind the counter was so unbelievably rude that I cannot believe she was ever given a customer facing role!I went into the shop on my way home from school run and stood in a (very short queue) to ask whether they had an item in stock. Her reaction and rude response included a very annoyed no". I asked her if her reaction was due to a high amount of people asking. She gave me a simple

Handy convenience shop, would be improved through a better selection of meat.

Good shop with car park, cash machine, pay point etc.

Really great customer service a really nice girl with long blonde hair served me and packed my bag which was so helpful. A large range of goods, will be back. Its good to shop local.

Bless the two ladies on shift tonight. Horrendously busy and clearly over worked.The small co op down the road has double the staff on shift pretty much all the time. One specifically just for deliveroo orders. These ladies are working twice as hard for the same money, sort it out.

I went into store this evening, I was collecting a deliveroo order (the orders are always on the side of the till, in sight of all customers in the shop) never had any issues with collecting orders from this particular store or had any problems with any of the staff as they have always been so lovely.Upon seeing my order number, I went to take the order (which I’ve always done previously with no problems and no one has ever told me differently)This older lady behind the till, immediately stopped me and started having ago at me making me feel very intimidated and threatened. There was also other customers waiting to be served by this lady at the time.She said to me that deliveroo drivers have been coming in this store and taking orders and they haven’t been getting the customers and explaining they don’t read the order numbers properly and take ‘ what they want ‘Having being confronted with this aggressive behaviour and seemed like she had been told off by a manager possibly and had been waiting for the next driver to come in and release all her anger out of them? Me?When i got back into the car after leaving the shop, my partner immediately said what happened, as the 2 lady’s at till being served, we’re staring at me laughing speaking to the staff member behind till. So whatever was said after I left store, she obviously continued to rant about me/delivery drivers.After all this happened, I was given the order and I left the shop and started delivery.After I delivered this order, the way she made me feel ruined my evening so I went home early and missed out on my wages.

Helpful staff, well presented, have a wide range of snacks but my gosh this is over priced.

The second time when I was buying some groceries, the lady at the till had some snarky comments about the number of Monster drinks I was buying. None of her business and actually utterly disgusting. It is unacceptable and the management should address this. This Spar, with such badly behaving staff, will never see me again!

Fantastic shop they helped us out with electric key after Scottish Power sent us on a 40 mile trip to a shop that is no longer there. Thank you again for your help
