I have been kept informed through the process of the complete renovation of my mid terraced house which helped to eliviate my fears of this daunting task. The loacl council recomended several builders and only ABH contacted me. I wish to thank Mark especially for his gentle manner and patience.I would recommend this company.

Although some time ago (2019), I'm sharing my experience with this company for building a side extension:Solid floor installed - not close to being level. Had to grind down worst humps post installation.Lead flashing where the extension joins the house - leaked in just over a year.Warranty - 1 year. Surprisingly low for building work.Installed oak beams - not dried out which then shrunk pulling away from the plaster leaving gaps in ceiling.Electrics - wired 16 spotlights on a single switch, no consultation on how to configure.Thermally inefficient - the extension is very hot in summer, very cold in winter, similar to a conservatory.Requested a step into the rear of the extension - tried to charge £50 extra for half a (used) paving slab & a bit of breeze block.Last point, make sure your architect captures ALL required alterations including pipe work, or you will be charged extra even if it seems obvious it’s required for the build.Would I recommend this company, no.
