Asda Ystalyfera Supermarket

This is my local supermarket, convenient for when needing something in a hurry. The staff are friendly and helpful and they seem to have a good variety of food stuffs as well as household goods.

Unbelievable wrong to treat customers like that .... After day out we came to Asda cafe to have a warm food in a cafe as it says that it's open till 6PM when my mum walked in it was 5:20PM and she's been told that it's closed now .... When she said that to me I went to customer service to ask what time do they close cafe and the gentleman there said he believes it closes at 5:30 so I've asked why did the lady said they closed ... So he phoned to confirmed with some1 and then he said it's closing at 5PM where even me saying and showing him that online says that it's closing 6PM he could not explain to me why .... Unacceptable weve been turned out to travel for nothing :/I'm really disappointed and now we just got stuck to sped more money on food as we expected and to find something open wasn't that easy as we are not from around :(

Good supermarket we got everything we required, but it has got expensive to shop here, we normally shop elsewhere and save up to 25-30 pounds on our shop. Occasional visitors now.

Very pleasantly surprised by this cafe. Only called in to make a bathroom stop and ended up with a cream tea each and a recommendation of somewhere local to visit when sightseeing. There’s plenty of room, s relaxed atmosphere, good value for money, open until a reasonable hour. Friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful. Would definitely pop in again. Highly recommended!

It's ok a bit dark and gloomy inside making you feel depressed walking around, cluttered entrance which seams to if become the norm for every Asda these days. Shame there is no meal deal on the sandwiches.

Outside parking free, Most items that are needed are sold here. Easy quick trip in. Friendly staff and easy self service. Disability access easy. Disability parking available also has a cafe for a quick coffee or lunch.

Easy parking, good range of products for size of store

Just moved to the area but have been coming to this supermarket for a few years. Clean surroundings, staff friendly and helpful.

A handy supermarket for Ystalyfera. A nice café with a mountain view. Clean toilets for customers. A very handy click and collect service. At least one electric car charger in the car park. A self serve petrol station on site. Ample parking. Fair selection of gluten free foods in stock such as own brand bread, cereal, and a few frozen items. Good selection of clothes, especially for women and children.

To start with some of the items are priced up incorrectly. Then the customer service is just rude. I'm never going there again.
