I didn't know this place existed . Im now very glad that I do. Great coffee, nice place. It can either set you up for your hike or be something to look forward to when you get back.

First time but certainly won’t be my last. ALL the staff so friendly and chatty. Clean, warm and friendly facility. Had scone (with cream) and coffee. Toilets and outside seating and dog friendly.

Very good staff and supportive. They explained all tracks and provided the map. New free bus service available till shop. Best place to seat and enjoy hot coffee ☕

Small cafe into a proper barn,a bit dated inside/out ,situated right on top of the Black Mountain, a main hub for the trekkers with nice hot food and a lovely cup of heartwarming tea for the tired trekkers. But my word,the views,you have got to visit this spot,its breathtaking when not raining.Big carpark with disabled parking at front.

The Barn Coffee Shop
Lovely wee coffee shop at the upper car park leading to the Black Mountain walks. In a gorgeous wee stone cottage, they serve a selection of cakes, savouries and all the coffee's and teas you might expect. Highly recommended to stop off here on your walk.
