Really like this little cafe.The prawn salad is lovely and I tried a few fries, which were so good.They get awfully busy, and close at 7 - so best to go as early as possible.The banana/cherry ice cream is delicious!

Hotham Park Cafe
Often had a take away ice-cream in the summer but as we were at the park looking at the Christmas lights thought we'd eat here. We were lucky to get the last table as there were lots already reserved and the place was about half full when we arrived. Really impressed with the happy hour 25% off food. Waited about half an hour for the food but it was worth it. All clearly freshly cooked, full of flavour, lovely side fresh, crisp side salad. All waitresses very friendly. Will certainly return.

Delicious ice creams and a very nice cup of tea. Lovely staff were helpful and happy. There is so much to do here,we did the pedalos this time, having done the train last visit. We always look for the mad hatters tea table for our picnic, and the kids loved the play ground. Never disappoints

Fantastic place to sit back and relax and soak in the outside or in if you prefer, with a great selection of cold and hot drinks. They have a big selection of different food and cater to different diets and have allegen info at Hand. This place has inside and outside seating and the staff are very friendly and very helpful. Amazing place to visit and look around.

Amazing Burrito bowl! Outstanding attentive service as well. First time eating here for a meal rather than just coffee and ice cream during the day... So many good options on there menu I'll be back!!

Hotham Park Cafe
As our most local cafe, I have frequented the establishment on a number of occasions to meet friends or in passing. I have ordered the same meal and beverage as the person I have been dining with on various occasions and every time the portions have been embarrassingly different, quality of food has varied and the female staff serving and taking customer orders are rude, uncourteous and have very little customer skills. Given the prices charged, anyone with any standards would take issue.I would recommend going to the near by alternative.Buyer be ware.

First time here for a meal for me. I was impressed! Strikingly well run by an energetic efficient team who kept up with demand during a busy lunch hour. Plenty of room inside at tables of various sizes.One of our group suggested some sound absorbing materials would be helpful to reduce noise, but it was not too bad for me.My fish and chips were great and the meals came quickly too.

I had the big breakfast at Hotham Park Cafe. The girls serving were very good, professional and friendly and the general ambience was relaxed. The breakfast was average and for the price of £10.95 I expect better. The bacon was annihilated and the beans barely had any taste, perhaps they were cheap beans? I didn't rate the sausages either. Although they were nicely cooked I just didn't enjoy the flavour. Halfway through my meal one of the chefs came out of the kitchen and looked like he had been dragged through a hedge backwards, dishevelled - not what I wanted to see from anyone in food prep. The other chef was well presented when I walked past the kitchen.It's a lovely venue in a beautiful park but needs to make things better from my experience on an average morning with a handful of people to make food for.I just had to put an edit in here because I checked the menu and I should have got a hash brown as well which I didn't. I did think at the time but though I must has kissrrad the menu. I've knocked another star off for this.
