Southampton Central Library

It is very nice library and it has so many books.

The library is the best place to go to if you are a student you can study in a quiet area and also you can use online computers and get books out what you want

My partner and I joined the library today and were made to feel very welcome. Whole process was very easy and Charles ( the lovely staff member) was very helpful.

If I could give no stars then I would! Absolutely appalled by the staff in this library! Went in this library to update my details onto my smart cities bus pass and got told it was all good to use and to find out today at another library that I couldn’t use my smart cities due to it my card needed to be renewed and they had to give me a library card instead. The only reason I wanted it on my smart cities card so I could have everything on one card.In my opinion the staff in the Civic library do not have a clue what they are doing and some need to go on a training course on how to deal with customers with learning needs like myself! I will never be visiting this library again!

Outstanding architecture of Southampton Civic Center adds special value to very good library based on ground floor with wheelchair access. The building complex also contains the; Guildhall Performing Arts Venue, Council Offices and Town Hall, Art Gallery, Archives Library, Marine Museum (dedicated to RMS Titanic)

Big and well equipped library. I took 1 star because the children's area could be better equipped. Other libraries are awesome for children, this one not so much.

Tonnes of room to study and read. Nice atmosphere and the building itself is beautiful. Staff were polite and helpful
