Highly recommend the Matcha boba tea. I got one with a rice bowl for 5.90, probably the best meal deal across Nicolson street in terms of price and quality.

The owner is dishonest. I order three toppings, but the food is not enough. So I ordered another one topping and she charged me 6 pound. After I paid the food, the owner said next time I should just say I added rice for free and order one topping, which can save me 4 pound. I asked what about this time and she said firmly that she won't refund and asked me not to bother her and went to her kitchen.

I popped into this place for a cup of tea (it is a tea house after all) and saw lots of simple Chinese food which I couldn't resist.Ate a delicious cabbage and spice dish with beef in oyster sauce and free rice. Only £4.80.It was delicious.The woman running the place is alone and doesn't speak good English. But she's so friendly and she banters with the all-Chinese clientele. Meanwhile the canny Scots are paying double in the posh but dead old fashioned Chinese restaurants.This place is great.I was going to meet someone in a more fancy place but I suggested here, saving us both a fortune.It's a great meeting place, unless you're a Trump supporter who hates foreigners.

Really cosy and very inexpensive bubble tea! Server was really lovely and happily told me about allergens. All teas are like 3.80 which is gourmet. Hidden gem!

I have been eating here for nearly a year. The boss and his very friendly wife are so nice that now they are one of my best friends in this foreign city. The tea are originally from China, the food is very fresh and the soup tastes scrumptious which keeps me energetic for the whole day and concentrate on my study by saving time. Five plus stars to recommend you come here.

Staff super friendly and explained the vegetarian options to me. Vibey music and cozy place. Amazing prices, I’ll def be coming back again for the deals (I got the veggie bao with matcha boba for super cheap and they were amaaaazing)

my friend reda said it was good so i decided to pop in. menu and pricing is clear and food is fresh and delicious. highly recommend to anyone looking for a hearty, filling authentically traditional meal. one of the cheapest yet best places for bubble tea.
