Quite a remote course, with an elevated position so the views are great. You can see down into Manchester and the surrounding areas.I would recommend going around the course with someone who has played there before, as lots of the fairways are blind, so you've got to know where to aim. Also, it's really hilly, all up, rather than down, so best hire a buggy!!!Having said all that, the course seems well maintained, with nice greens and fairways.

Attended for a family christening, Rude staff. Guests arrived at approx 1.30 and everything was set up for 1.45, the manager shut the venue at 5pm after the room being paid for and their reason was “ drinks was not being bought at the level expected so there’s no point staying open” would not recommend

Huge thank you to all involved at werneth low golf club for the assistance and attention to detail at our wedding on 18.8.23 The room and staff were amazing. You could not ask for a better venue for any reason to celebrate. Views are stunning. If I could give 10 star rating I would.

Stunning country course with breathtaking scenery all around. One of the finest views of MancHattan you're gonna find. The course is also in grand condition too. Highly recommended a visit

We held our wedding breakfast and evening party here on the 19th August. After we were initially a little stressed due to management changes close to the date - Ben contacted and met up with me. He put my mind at ease immediately and ensured everything would be what we asked for... When we arrived at the venue we were greeted with drinks. We had our own decorators in BUT the room as stunning. The wedding breakfast was OUT OF THIS WORLD (we had tomato soup starter, beef dinner and chocolate cake pudding). The Staff all day and night were simply fantastic. They were all polite and nothing was ever too much trouble. I would highly recommend the golf club for any party as you are well looked after.

I had no idea this gem was only 10 mins away! Went to exercise the dog, parked outside the golf club and walked towards the war memorial. Such a lovely view! Great place to take kids and dogs for a good run around and it's big enough that everyone can stay socially distanced. I'll be back especially in the summer! Only complaint is there was only 1 bin so it seems many people didn't pick up after their dogs.

Called in for food with my mum. Not much choice and no veggie choices but has only just started to do food so I’m sure menu will improve. The guy running the place made me veggie loaded fries which were nice and my mum had a sandwich which was also very nice. Amazing views. Lovely place to sit outside. I look forward to seeing the menu in the future.

Myself and my new wife booked this amazing venue for our wedding reception! its such a beautiful area, amazing views!! It was just such stunning views. The bar staff were absolutely on the ball, none of our guests ever waited to be served they were all super friendly and just amazing to us!! (they even at the end of the night stayed until our last guests got there taxi's and away to their home! did not have too, but they did :) ) We booked our own food etc but that was no problem for them, they helped our vendors set up and sort our guests out. So from myself and my wife a massive thank you to the golf course for helping make our day perfect with the views, and the amazing venue.Paul & Samantha

What an amazing venue. We had our wedding reception here yesterday. Absolutely fabulous setting with stunning views. The food was amazing & so much of it. No one left hungry. Staff were lovely & very professional. Can not fault this place. If you are looking for a reasonably priced venue for your celebration give them a look.
