I was looking to have a pair of Timberland boots reheeled as they were very comfortable but other shoe shops said they could not do them as the substructure to the heal was of a soft man made, but Timpson said they could do it and the following day I picked them up with no problems.

Had 3 keys cut at Verwood branch, advised if there was any issues I could go back to any other store if needed.Next day had to go to ferndown branch as one key wasn't quite right.Sorted in 5 minutes and the keys are perfect.Simple, easy and efficient.

Did a fantastic job of replacing the heel and sole of my favourite shoes! I will get another couple of years out of them.

I had my Brasher Country Classic walking shoes reheeled at Timpson locally. Darren understood that the walking shoe should have an angled heel and used an appropriate durable heel that had the flexibility to be moulded into the angle. The commando type heel was too rigid to flex to the angle but not an issue as the shoes are not used in rough terrain.What a difference it has made to long walks, as the last time I reheeled it was done flush to the ground ( like a dress shoe that I hadn’t noticed) and that I later found not comfortable on long walks. At £20 I thought that this was good value for an excellent service for sustained use of these good shoes.Darren also glued the tips of my Nike waterproof hiking shoes and the charge was simply a donation to the charity box.I do like the ethos of the Timpson family which shows in the workforce. I always read James Timpson and his father John before him when they used to write articles in the Sunday Times that mostly made good sense.

In Timpson you can get a battery put into your watch that covers it for a lifetime and for only £4 more than a normal battery why wouldn't you. The staff are always happy and smiley. Brilliant place to go
