Manor House Hotel

My partner, our granddaughter and I were travelling home, broke down on the road outside and managed to limp into the carpark to wait for the AA. We went into reception to explain our plight and asked if using the car park was ok? The staff member was brilliant and said it was fine and to feel free to use the lounge and it's facilities while waiting. It ended up being a 3 hour wait but gave us a chance to look at the offer there and chat to others in the lounge. I'd never heard of the place, but I love crafts and my partner plays golf. How fortuitous was that! This is such a friendly place we're planning to come back and actually stay next year.

Loved staying at the Manor House Hotel. There are loads of crafting and activities available to book every day, there's swimming pools open you can just turn up, no booking required. The staff are friendly and the food is very good. We went all inclusive, you won't go hungry. We'll definitely go there again

I have been twice to Manor House Hotel. Both times I have enjoyed myself. Recent stay I found the staff was exceptional nothing was too much, so helpful and happy. We had a Christmas dinner which was delicious. I would strongly recommend

Great facilities and activities available, the structure is very dated, especially the hotel part but all clean. There are some issues with ventilation in some areas and this causes sewage smell occasionally. Overall for the price and what's on offer it's great value for money. There's a lot to entertain the whole family and thanks to the fact it's such a big space and so many activities, it's never crowded. You only realise there are a lot of people at meal times. Very recommended for a budget option with a wide variety of activities on offer! Don't expect the wow factor from the looks but if you're not bothered by it, then it's really great!

I have been going here with my family for a very, very long time! It has all the facilities you can think of and more, every sport and the spa facilities are fabulous. The crafts are good, but I'm not very crafty! There is a great range to do, just make sure you sign up fast. The food always has a large range and is very inclusive of all diets. The highlight for me is the sport competitions, you have great family fun playing with your families and against others (all in good spirit).

What an unusual place. Off the beaten track. It’s basically a family multi sports complex that’s evolved over years as they have added facilities. It’s an incredible rabbit warren of corridors and facilities.Staff are very friendly. Could do with more bar staff. One young lady was working her socks off on Thurs Eve. The rooms are basic - I was allocated a room with 5 beds (1 x Dbl, 3 x Sgl). Bath room was very basic but at least it was a walk-in shower. The dinning room is a bit like a military cookhouse - hot plate buffet. Generally of a decent standard but felt a little industrial in preparation and service. Gets very busy at peak times. And if you don’t like walking - ask for a room near reception/the dining room. Or you’re going to get your steps in!

Really great place to relax, play all sorts of sports and do activities. When we visited, we played golf, tennis, padel, pickle ball, carpet bowls, air rifles, archery and some of the others in our party made pots and glass art. In reality, there's far too much to do in the time allocated...!!.The room was very clean and well presented, the shower and bathroom were very acceptable. Dinning facilities and food were more than acceptable with a great choice too. I couldn't fault anything, really enjoyed every minute and I'm sure others will do too!!..

I have stayed at Manor House many times and enjoyed every one very much.This review is about the booking service, which I felt was great.I was able to phone to make my next booking on a Sunday afternoon for Jan 24. Went through to a real person who was very helpful and managed to answer every question quickly and well. Booking made so easily.Thank you for keeping the chance to speak to a REAL person when booking, such a lovely change. See you in January.
