The Entertainer

We have always had a great service from the Team at The Entertainer.Today we took our 6 year old who was excited as he had money to spend on toys. The Lady who was by the door was lovely who offered our little boy to shoot a nerf gun at some targets which was lovely!Had a lovely experience again, until we got to the Till and we were served by Tom" who did not acknowledge us or our little boy. We gave "Tom" our little boys toys to pay! The only thing he said was "you want a bag" Not even a smile!There was no thank you or goodbye! We weren't even sure if he had finished with us as he just kept talking to the other member of staff!I feel "Tom" needs to be trained in customer service and learn how to interact with Children especially as he is representing The Entertainer who's customers are all children!Kind regardsSean smith"

I like to go in every other week to look at the hotwheels. Sometimes find old stock from previous seasons, but they offer a good range of special editions and it's always fun to dig through the boxes. Staff are lovely.

Range wasn't great but ok for a small shop

Not very accessible for disabled with children, no one to help, but lovely store seem to have plenty available

I think its a great shop never had any issues with the staff they've always been polite and friendly and the toys are reasonably priced

This is a reasonable toy shop. Some toys I feel are a bit pricey and some toys have been badly made. My son's got a very small transformer robot each for Christmas and both kept just falling apart. This has happened a couple of times but most of the times the toys are good quality for.thr price. Depends on what the toy is.

Since the relocation this place has definitely upped its game, plenty to choose from at reasonable prices. Although annoying they close Sundays, from a work life balance this is a great thing, and would be great all retailers did the same

Was in a dilemma the other day trying to search for something so I called up and spoke to the most helpful bloke on the phone Phillip who took his time to search for it then once arriving in store helping me to show me were it was and other things I was after. So very polite also, happy, cheerful and engaged well with all the customers who said the same whilst grabbing my bits. Always great to have a warm welcome like that. Completely changes the whole experience within the shop .
