Richmond Village Painswick, is a beautiful retirement village perfectly placed in the heart of the Slad Vallies.

I have visited Richmond Village Painswick many times and found the staff extremely friendly. The residents I have spoken to speak very highly of the village. I personally have always found the staff welcoming.I can not fault this friendly group of people. Paul

My Aunt spent 4 years in her Assisted Living Flat at Richmond Painswick and she found it just what she needed . Beautiful flat, lovely surroundings and public areas, independence and trips out when she was able - immediate help from the friendly and familiar in-house Carers when she was unwell.Just what she wanted for her latter years.Celia

My mum moved to Richmond Villages Painswick in late 2016, straight from her own home. There was quite a period of adaption, but throughout she has been looked after by the domiciliary care team - indeed all of the people at the village - very well since then.The Painswick location has both formal gardens and a carefully curated meadow, complete with many interesting plants. It has taken the head gardener and his team years to deliver this glorious result.This is a compact and very friendly organisation.

A very well run and welcoming place with plenty of activities, helping my Mum feel at home from day one. Of all the similar retirement places we looked at, Richmond Painswick was one of the only ones which included domiciliary care and care home facilities on site, which crucially means Mum hopefully won't have to move again if there comes a time this extra support is needed.

I have been a resident at Richmond Village Painswick for 7 years. We were from the area and it was important for us to stay in the Cotswolds. After looking around other villages we decided Richmond Village Painswick was our number one choice. We were happy that we could remain independent here however reassured there was support if required including the care home, under one roof. I now enjoy the friendly community here and the feeling of being safe. The social diary run by the activities team is important for me to meet with friends and stay connected.

This village has everything you want for over 50s . I have met many of the residents who enjoy living here . Some of them reside in their own apartments , some in the care home . It provides them with comfort and security. There are various activities for them ( depending on their ability) to enjoy and keep them occupied . Their meals can be served in the restaurant ( which is very light and airy ) or in their own rooms . There is also a cafe where they can meet their friends and families. Some of the activities take place in here , also a library. Each week the residents are given a diary of forthcoming events , eg: films , speakers , trips etc . There is also The Wellness Spa which has a gym , fitness classes , swimming pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool spa. Plus a hairdressers and beauty treatments. The Wellness spa is open to non residents with a membership ( either paid yearly or monthly) . Often there are beauty treatments on offer advertised monthly, again these are available to non members ( booked in advance ) Richmond Village is set in a wonderful part of Painswick with stunning views and many residents enjoy a stroll around the grounds admiring the well kept gardens. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
