Escape Newcastle

Me and a couple of friends did an escape room this afternoon, we did Baker Street. It was top fun and the staff member Emma was brlliant. Thank you for a great time, and we’ll be back soon to do another room

We did Dead Man’s Hand at the Gate and it was one of the best escape rooms I’ve done! The layout was so much fun and the puzzles were so creative and our game master was really good at setting the scene for the room and explaining how it all worked! Would definitely recommend!

My family entered the First Contact room at the venue within The Gate in Newcastle. Excellent time had by all. Puzzles were varied & made you think! As the time went by, you definitely felt the pressure to complete it all!! Charlie was our host & couldn't have been more lovely/helpful. Great fun. Will definitely be back soon to try another one!

Attended as part of a work night out, had a really great time. Arcade is amazing, really makes you think and our supervisor, Harry, was really great with our clues. Thank you for a great time!!

Absolutely loved the Arcade room! We did it as a family of 4 and and was easier to follow what to do. We did the prison break last week and that one was much harder and you get a lot of clues before you need them so harder to figure out what clue is first.You have to do the Arcade Room!!We will definitely be back!!Thank you to Kirsty and the guy on reception - who served us both times and was really nice and friendly!Thank you xx

First time I’ve been to an escape room - loved it! We originally planned to complete one room but had such a good time we returned to try both at The Gate, Newcastle. Two different difficulty levels, but both gripping.The store was clean and well presented, with welcoming staff and effective game rooms. Huge shout out to Charlie, who was super charismatic and did well to set the scene of the games and explain everything we needed to know in a friendly and informative manner. I was on holiday in Newcastle but hope to return in the near future to try the additional escape rooms at their other locations.

We had a lot of fun! The team there was very accommodating and helped us move our booking when we knew we would be late and our GM, Emma, was just overall very friendly and helpful.The escape room was immersive and full of great puzzles and we had an awesome time. Lovely experience all around and would definitely recommend!

My husband and I already visited twice, and we can confidently say it was a fantastic experience that left us eager for more.From the moment you step into the themed room, you are immersed in an exciting adventure that challenges your wits and creativity. The puzzles and challenges were cleverly designed and kept us engaged from start to finish.Game masters provide hints and clues if your group gets stuck on a particular puzzle. It made the experience accessible for all levels of players, whether you're a seasoned escape room enthusiast or a first-timer. The game masters were attentive and gave just the right amount of assistance, allowing us to progress without spoiling the challenge.The price for the experience provided was more than reasonable, especially considering the quality of the puzzles and the level of entertainment. It's an excellent option for a fun night out with friends, a memorable date night, or a unique team-building activity.The variety of rooms and themes they offer means there's always something new to explore. We're looking forward to our next adventure.

We played Bank Heist, Oana was our guide throughout the game - cannot recommend the room enough! We’ve played many escape rooms between us, so it was fun to be able to all split off in different directions to solve as many puzzles (and steal and much money) as possible. Defo not the easiest room, but was very very fun!

Absolutely thrilling experience! The bank robbery-themed escape room was exceptionally well-designed, providing an immersive and challenging environment. The clues were cleverly crafted, adding a fantastic mind-twisting element to the game. It's a perfect team activity, and I highly recommend having at least three members for an optimal and enjoyable experience.
