Extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring staff who adapt their manner to individual pets and their needs.

The vet and later the nurse were calm and caring, explained things very clearly and gave options for shadow's treatment. They explained that they would contact me and were accommodating when I wouldn't have been able to collect shadow at the time they suggested. They were also very understanding when the post operative review couldn't take part for a week. Whilst they felt they needed to see her this week we agreed an action plan through the use of WhatsApp to support post operative management without the need for an extra visit before the end of the week.

While on holidayI had to take my dog to be put to sleep. The vet was fantastic she considered my distress and gave our family lots of privacy. It was so dignified. When I returned home there was a card signed by everyone in the vetinary surgery sending their condolences a little phile with a heart and my dogs name, inside the clippings of her hair also pictures of her paw prints. I feel she was sent over the rainbow bridge with love and will forever be grateful to them

We were at the practice for sometime whilst Gary was assessed and the vet explained things and then whilst the vet processed the referral. All the while we were not rushed about or made to feel we needed to make way for the next person: as we had possible bad news about our pet this was very appreciated. The vet, Shannon, was highly knowledgeable and very happy to clearly explain matters to us, which made a big difference and was appreciated

Having struggled to get into my regular vet I rang Vet4pets Grantham who fitted my dog in the same day, as my dog was in alot of pain.I am very pleased with the whole service the staff were lovely and Lee did a great job with explaining the treatment and aftercare.I highly recommend vets4pets

Having visited earlier in the year with our very poorly cat, the service received was of extremely poor standard.The vet who we saw as an emergency was incompetent and openly admitted he doesn’t know about small animals and didn’t know what he was doing. (So why is he employed in a small animal practice). He wouldn’t even touch him and complained that he was shedding fur, he’s a cat with an extremely high temperature what did he expect.We were told he was a locum and wouldn’t be there again and we’d not have to deal with him, but the fact is he shouldn’t have been there at all!Bloods were taken and we were told everything was fine, after seeing a second vet at the practice.Fast forward a few weeks we’ve now got a cat having to have surgery for a large tumour in his gut and facing decisions that we perhaps wouldn’t be needing to make, had Vets4Pets Grantham employed competent staff.A complaint was raised and I was advised a full investigation would take place, I’m still waiting for them to have the curtesy to respond.If you’d like your animals treated with dignity, compassion, and by people that know what they are doing, go to one of the many other vets within town because you won’t get it from here!

Extremely grateful for timely help and arranging a nearby hospital for Milo to go to. If it wasn’t for your expertise and prompt action we may have lost him. Very understanding and willing to answer any questions, everything explained simply. Very helpful with financial side and very pleased we could use finance at your practice until the insurance hopefully pays out. Great choice of hospital for ease of access due to my partner being a new driver and very happy with their services too. Had good news from the hospital about his condition as well.

All of the staff are absolutely amazing here! They really care about yours pets and demonstrate that they understand how important they are to you. They take the time to explain things in however much detail you need and go above and beyond to make you feel like your pets are special. Thank you so much to the best V4P branch! :)

I saw vet Shannon who had to deliver some very bad news to me about my dog and i was heartbroken. The empathy and compassion she showed to both myself and my dog was above and beyond ,i wish more vets were like her, she's an absolute star. She took the time to explain everything to me and gave me a hug when i cried .You could see how much she cared and even called me to check how my dog was doing before she had to fly back home for her own family crisis. A lovely caring person!
