I came to this garage on a recommendation from the RAC when my car broke down. My car had a petrol leak so had to be towed to the garage. The RAC towed my car to the garage on the Sunday and I phoned the garage on the Monday to find out how long it would take to be diagnosed. They were able to look at my car promptly and find the leak. The parts were ordered and my car was fixed. The communication from the garage was excellent throughout and the customer service was perfect. I am usually intimidated by garages as I am not technically minded when it comes to cars but when I arrived to collect my car I didn't feel like this at all. An image was drawn to help me understand what had gone wrong with the car which put me at ease and the guys are really friendly. I would highly recommend this garage and will definitely be returning for future work when required.Thank you team!

Never been here before...but as electronic dashboard on car flashing replace key batteries immediately and garage was approaching stopped.Very friendly welcome and batteries changed immediately and no more expensive than major dealers.Well done and thank you

Recently used Sharnford garage once to change my alternator which they did quickly and efficiently and for a lot less than had been quoted by other mechanic. Also for leak on power steering which they checked but found no leaks which they made no charge for not even for the use of the courtesy car. Brilliant to be able to use an honest and reliable garage will continue to use and would highly recommend.Neil

I have been using Sharnford Garage for 20 of my 55 years of motoring . They have serviced and repaired my vehicles in that time, vans and cars, all of which I have bought from them . The quality of service and mechanical skills is unbeatable and charges way lower than any competitors - I have had quotations for work needed to done while away visiting family , only to have the costs of repair halved when I have brought vehicle back to Sharnford . Mark will explain in detail mechanical problems encountered from an amazing depth of knowledge, shared by his son and two other mechanics . I am always given a courtesy car so I can keep working : I am a builder and very hard on my motors ! Friendly, and so accomodating to any demands . I am running out of superlatives - these guys cannot be beaten . I wouldn't buy a secondhand motor from anywhere else.

Be careful this garage will carry out unnecessary work so that you come back to have further work carried out. this has happened to us twice now. we took a car to them with a fault, they had it three times, each time replacing parts and issuing us with a bill, then having not rectified the fault they told us that we were best to trade the car in for a new one. more recently we have taken a car to them for repair. before taking it we paid for a full diagnostic test from a completely independent garage, and reported the engine fault codes to Sharnford garage, despite being told what the EM codes were they then went on and a totally unrelated part, reset the codes and claimed that the car had been fixed. two days later the EM light came on again. Sharnford garage were then keen to take the car back in for further work. It was only when challenged on the work that they had done previously that they refused to do any further work. They told us we could have a full refund, but then were then not prepared to honour that statement. Very dishonourable people.
