Lovely staff, great for a shop, shame all the plants are left to die every week! ... because no one waters them? Is it health and safety gone made?

The woman serving didn't how to use a surestart NHS card (top tip its contac less) and also couldn't understand how to split the total between 2 cards, resulting in a que forming and making me feeling stressed out at till. I wanted to split the total of £40 between 2 cards for £20 each but she kept pitting it through for 40 on one card and couldn't figure out the problem altho I explained it to her. Not a good experience in my eyes

Aldis my go to place for weekly shopping. Fruit and veg is always good and they have a great selection of most things. Great parking and always plenty of tills open and staff available to help

There never seems to be any baskets by the doors? Not sure why but last 3 times I've been had to walk to end of tills to find basket. There just doesn't seem to be enough staff for such a busy Aldi.

I was in late evening and there were no baskets by the door, I asked a member of staff if there were any baskets and she nonchalantly said there will be some by the end of the tills, and for me to go and find them, if she knew that then why had nobody gone and got them and put a supply near the door for new customers, it's basic store etiquette and the minimum of customer service principles! After getting the few items I needed I went to the tills where only one was open, the queue was extending into the aisle but no members of staff, of which there were plenty all around the shop floor, deemed it necessary to open up another till to ease the queue. If it wasn't for the friendly and polite cashier that was actually on the till I would have been saying that there is no good customer service at all.

I went back to mention some of my click and collect items were missing. Ina apologised several times, refunded me the full amount after offering to go and collect all the items again herself. She then gave us a lovely bouquet of flowers to say sorry. Couldn't be happier with how it was handled. Ina was exceptional!

Aldi’s is our go to store for our weekly stock up. The produce is always fresh and usually in much better condition than even more expensive competitiors (maybe except waitrose and MS). The range of selections is amazing and very cost effective.

It's a bit like a car boot or jumble sale down the middle aisles.Needs a serious sort out. If you want snacks there's loads of those, too many really.
