View Heathrow Observation Deck

Could be a great viewpoint but all the binoculars were missing, not sure if they've been pinched or not but it's a shame. All round view from terminal 4 and a clear view of terminal 5.

Perfect view of the airport coming down to land, and flying off the runway. It located on 3rd floor level, two floors above the level for departure. It’s very easily accessible via lift or stairs from the waiting area of departure. Three different runways can be seen from this observation desk. There are no seats or chairs made for waiting. There’s also a map of the airport at the deck.

Observation deck can only be accessed if you’re traveling in Terminal Four. You have to get through security and Immigration. Once inside take a right from security, keep walking towards gate twenty two. There are two flights of stairs to reach the top. Not much of a view and you can’t take good photos as there is a reflection of the glass. There isn’t and chairs so you have to stand for a while to see the takeoff. At least it’s something unique at Heathrow Airport.

Definately a great place to visit if you like planes and you are travelling from Terminal 4 Heathrow. It is located near gate 15 and have both stairs and lift access. Taking photos when it is dark had glass walls reflection.

A secret gem in Terminal 4. If you are flying out if the terminal, head to gate 15 and follow the signs for the stairs or the lift up. Great views of the airport and flights landing and taking off as well as views of the London skyline (the shard, BT tower and gherkin are all visible in the distance). On a clear day you can see Windsor castle too!

Great place to see planes land and take off. Some seats or stools would make this place even better. You can see a lot of traffic queue up for the runway and also land too depending on which runway is in operation

Not to be missed when in terminal 4. We get the panoramic view is the runway where we can see flights taking off / landing in one of THE busiest airports in the world. See the Concord parked near British airways building. Never seen such a great view of airport anywhere in the world... Excellent idea and nicely implemented by LHR authorities
