My first experience with Teletext holidays was very easy, the agent was very helpful and gave me all the information i needed,. I would use them again in the future.

Totally disappointed with the service i received . After being recommended to use them and reading some good reviews i decided to book my holiday with teletext. DJ was the operator who assisted me, at 1st i felt he was helpful and got me a good deal but after the initial phone call and taking the money from my bank no one wanted to help or even know my concerns.. I was misled on a few occasions and the information provided at time of booking turned out to be false! Speaking to several operators i found them all to tell different stories! i was so frustrated with the service i decided i wanted to cancel my holiday only to be told that its not possible and there was no refund due! (after 6 hours of booking) I will be in touch with the ombudsman regarding this. I haven't went into detail with the complaint because its irrelevant i am purely pointing out that the customer service is shocking and to warn people to be careful when booking as the final price i was told was definitely not the final price!!Never again!! they don't even deserve 1 star rating

Absolute joke fest of a company. When I originally booked the holiday I was told multiple times that there was no fee to amend/cancel the holiday. As it it turns out I am unable to travel due to work commitments.In order to claim on my holiday insurance I need a cancellation confirmation. I genuinely have lost count of the amount of hours I’ve wasted on the phone on hold while someone “looks into it” and then just hangs up. 50 minutes was the longest they kept me on hold. They’ve also ignored countless emails.It doesn’t help you have to deal with people who have the mental agility of a house brick. I would prefer to drink a flagon of nuclear waste whilst having my balls stapled to a table then deal with these incompetent, unprofessional thieves.The holiday insurance company informed me that they are “notoriously difficult to deal with”. This is the understatement of the last 20 billion years. I actually think I’ll have more success training a manatee in quantum physics.Avoid this company like you’d avoid taking your wife to meet Gene Simmons

I have not received particularly good service from this company.. When I booked I was not told that they were just agents for other suppliers and in retrospect they did nothing that I could not have done myself. I was informed by Ned that everything was included in my all inclusive holiday booking with them, he stated no hidden charges, I had many long quiet spells on hold, waiting,for stuff to be checked, which did make me nervous but I continue..I paid with my card and got a confirmation email through but no documentation, as I was told that would be sent separately. Four days later, after 3 live chats with Sebastian (which must be a generic name as it was always him) and a telephone call to an automated number, I received the documentation..The flight transfer info was missing, so another live chat with Sebastian proceeded and was told I didn’t have any transfers as the weren’t included..no apology, no offer to see what could be done, just an automated response from a company who only speaks to you until you pay .. so sorry teletext holidays I won’t be using you again or giving you a good review. I have, for my own pieces mind, checked the booking myself with the airline and hotel, which do seem to have been booked, hence the single star for that bit. Well done for booking me in..

First time we have booked with teletext. We have always avoided them due to the call now for a price which we thought would end up being a lot more expensive. I tried to call but the line was busy so I left a message. Within 30 seconds I received a call back from a well spoken and helpful customer service team member.The team member gave us a lot more opinion to what was shown on the website and they ended up getting us a better flight package, which we are extremely please about.With bargain price holidays I highly recommend anyone who is interested in a holiday to give the team a call and see what package they are able to offer you.I know after this holiday I will be coming back to teletext and will be recommending to friends and family.

I had a very good experience booking my holiday with Teletext holidays. The agent whose name was Sudhen was very polite and demonstrated a high level of customer service. He was patient and was able to answer all my questions. He did not put me under any pressure but gave me time to make an informed decision. When I was unsure he suggested I check hotel reviews before booking. He gave me options and time to decide. He was very helpful and attentive. I am very happy with the service I received and will always book my holiday from now on with teletext holidays and the price was value for money. 10 out of 10 for teletext holiday.

Avoid at all costs! They sold me a holiday with a room that was completely unsuitable for our family. I was forced to pay to upgrade. When I got home I followed procedure and made a complaint by email and when they eventually replied some 60 days later, they completely avoided my argument and sent back generic replies over and over, taking a month to reply each time. Wouldn’t phone me to talk about it, their customer service is terrible. May be cheaper but this is the reason and not when you have to pay £100 to upgrade!

we have booked several holidays with teletext and have always found then to be very polite and helpful. Their online manage my booking is great and i particularly like their web chat facility which i find quicker and better if you have a query. All in all i would recommend teletext to anyone.

I would give 0 stars if I could. A word of warning, Do Not book a holiday with teletext holidays. We had our holiday cancelled last May due to COVID-19 situation. We were asked to be patient regarding a refund, which we were. After 3 months we chased the refund and were promised we would receive it in a couple of weeks. Chased again the next month, told the same again and again and again for 5 months. Have now applied to the courts to recover our money. Please Do Not use this company.

THEY ARE NOT REFUNDING FOR HOLIDAYS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID!!!I booked a holiday for October. It was cancelled by the operator. Was told by Teletext that I would not get a refund until January. The refused to email me confirmation that I was due a refund and would only send a text telling me my holiday was cancelled. I have called repeatedly to find out about my refund and I am just put on hold. Today I have been put on hold for over an hour so far. The service is appalling. After using them for at least the last 10 years to book my holidays I will never give them a penny of my money again. Do not book with them, if the holiday is cancelled you will not get your money refunded.
