Hillway

Our dog Molly loves her stays at Hillways, so much so that she even gets really excited when we’re going down the drive! Chris is really kind and was so accommodating when I was pregnant and needed a last minute booking due to needing to go in to hospital unexpectedly. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Been using hillway for over 20 years and all three of my dogs have been there, wouldn't use anyone else my dog always comes back in an excellent condition and as she's a larger bread I like the large outside runs they have which allows fresh air better than a dog being cramped up inside all day

Left our Border Collie Sam there for a week and he came back happy and obviously well looked after.We are extremely happy and will be using again.

Very clean and well kept boarding kennels..This is now the only kennels I will use, as other local ones just aren't kept to the same standard.

Extremely rude and unhelpful even after me being anxious on drop off of my cat she showed no empathy and said you said he was fine!! He had never been left anywhere and was quite horrible I will not be using hillsway again and will not be recommending them, if you can't be bothered to be nice and caring then don't bother animals are like humans and deserve a nice place to be when away from home very unhappy

Boarded my dog here for 10 days and on drop off explained he has some issues and were fully honest about them. On collection were spoken to in an incredibly rude and patronising manner. We were made to feel like we had hidden information, which we hadn’t. Other than being moaned at for one small issue (due to no fault of our own), there was no real handover as to our dogs time in the kennels. We will not be using this kennels again and would not recommend to anyone.

Chris and the team have looked after my two cats many times over the years; They always come back happy and healthy and there is never any problem if they need special food or medication. The staff are very professional and obviously care about the animals they look after. The kennels have a covered but open area and then an enclosed area at the back so the cats can choose if they want to sit watching the fish or sleep in their beds. Boths areas have always been clean and tidy whenever i have dropped them off or picked them up. We always take time to say hello to the other cats and they all seem happy and healthy too; It always seems busy so i take this as a sign that it's popular and others are also pleased with the service and happy to leave their pets in Chris' care too.

The kennels are a great price, staff friendly and helpful. My dog came home happy and healthy! The reason for four stars is the road to the kennels is filled with massive pot holes, needs sorting!! I had to have my tracking done after as car went into huge pot hole. Next time I'll park in car park and walk to the kennels and save myself £20 on having tracking done.

Highly recommended. Our dog amber always gets her same spot every time she stays over. 5 ⭐️ treatment all the way from staff who always put the pets first. Thank you so much.
