Crosby House Surgery

The worst surgery i have ever spoke to in the whole UK. everyone is back to work after all this hype of pandemic which I worked through out but doctors still doing over the phone consultationsalso I called waited 45 mins on the phone then they jus hanged up on me then called again and all appointments booked. what a waste of our hard earned money... they should scrap this NHS.If I could I would not even give a starthe other worst thing is they telling us to wear face mask but the selfs sitting in a closed room are not wearing a mask. different rules for different people. Bunch of wallys they are. rest of the world is working but we can't come in to book appointments or anything. waste of tax payer money! it really passes me off.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Every aspect of this GP surgery is shambles, from booking appointments to actually speaking with a doctor. It all needs to be reworked and I am surprised the surgery hasn't been closed with all the negative reviews. There are no face to face appointments and every person over the phone sounds demotivated to help that it is like speaking to a wall.

I am not satisfied. When Booking appointments, the lady said a doctor will call you any time in the morning meaning that you are stuck for the half of the day. Anyway, someone called on the Saturday morning when I was in the toilet. The voice message left asked me to call back. When I called back, within 10 minutes, the surgery answering machine says ‘thank you for calling Crosbyhouse surgery, Our lines are now closed’. What a waste of time !!! I believe they are there just for making money and grab the hard earned money of tax payers.

The receptionist are unprofessional..Does not seem like they know what they are doing. I am a doctor myself and know what GP surgeries can/cannot do. There were many occasions when I asked for certain things and receptionist would just say that cannot be done. Then I have to emphasise and tell them again after which they would ask someone else and say yes we will do it later. My mom's cardiology appointment got significantly delayed because of the carelessness of receptionist.

Went in for a medication review, the in house pharmacist was absolutely amazing. I’m in a wheelchair and have a speech impediment and she was patient and understanding. However when talking to the receptionist after she was very brusk and rude to me about my speech, and rather than being patient she just said to my carer (who was right next to me) “I can’t understand her!” and just carried on with my carer. There was no one else in the surgery so it’s not like I was taking up other peoples time. She reduced me to tears and I left with my self esteem crushed. I would have thought that a doctor’s surgery would be more professional.

The incompetency of the staff at this practice and the practice operating a telephone consultation and NOT a face to face is definitely one of the reasons why NHS care in Slough is extremely poor. We have rude, unqualified people answering phones and booking appointments with no proper system in place. Either close the GP practice or get back into normal routine because this is beyond a joke.

Extremely rude receptionists, hanged up on me mid conversation and stated before hanging up, that my little sister wanting to speak to a doctor about her insulin was not urgent. My family are all registered with them and when we need to speak to a doctor about any concerns or health problems, these receptionists speak so rudely, passive aggressive and so dismissive. I mean how is this GP still open with all these bad reviews and complains they are getting and it is mostly to do with these receptionists who have no communication or professionalism.

I have just seen Prashant Sahu at the Crosby Surgery. He was very friendly, helpful and informative. We talked about the problem andthe solutions

Extremely rude staff have a habit of putting the phone down on you they don’t even try to help you at all I am seriously surprised how they haven’t been shut down yet, for each problem you have you need to book separate appointments like why can’t it be done the same time not like it will take you more than 10 minutes hearing out a patient. AVOID IF YOU ARE THINKING TO JOIN THEM DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE WE ALL HAVE AS THEY ARE A WASTE OF TIME!!! WASTE OF TAX PAYERS MONEY ! If I could give 0 stars I would!

Avoid joining this surgery, they are operating a telephone consultation initially no face to face appointments, maintained the pandemic practice even after the restrictions have been lifted. IF YOU ARE FORTUNATE TO OPTAIN A HOLD IN THE PHONE QUEUE.SLOUGH BOROUGH COUNCIL NEED TO INTERVENE TO ASSESS THE DUTY OF CARE THIS SURGERY IS OFFERING THEIR PATIENTS.Every review has highlighted the incompetence of the staff and their rude manner. Absolutely ridiculous.Very very expensive for acquiring medical reports. Probably the most expensive practice in Slough, they charge 50 to 100% more than other surgeries in Slough.
