We ordered cookies from Cookie Lady Mel and wow, we were blown away! We ordered over 100 cookies for a work event with 4 different designs. She went over and above to match our work logos and brand colours. Each cookie was absolutely perfect and carefully packaged. The cookies tasted amazing! Cookie Lady Mel is our go-to. I recommend 100%! Xx

On 27th October 2022, I booked & paid a deposit to a business called Cookie Lady Mel to provide personalised cookies as place settings for my wedding on 21st April 2023.Due to circumstances outwith my control, I missed the final payment date, which was 1 calendar month prior to the wedding which would have been 21st March 2023.As soon as I realised on 23rd March 2023, I emailed the business to aprise of my circumstances and apologise.At this time I was also making ammendments to the number of guests attending.Upon receiving this email, the business owner referred to her terms and conditions saying that I could either go through with the order at the original number of cookies or cancel & recieve half of my deposit back.I decided to continue with the order as these cookies were for place settings, and placed the remainder of the payment on 23rd March 2023.On Sunday 9th April, I sent an email to the business again with 3 very small amendments, which were spelling errors on my part.The business owner REFUSED. Saying that changes at this stage were not possible. Again I attempted to reason as I only needed x3 names spelled correctly & 1 name taken off.I DON'T KNOW ANY BUSINESS OWNER THAT WOULD WANT SPELLING MISTAKES ON THEIR WORK.With 10 days to go to til collection for the wedding, I did not think this was an unreasonable request.There was no point in reasoning - and she mentioned cancelling the order AGAIN!This gives me the impression that this woman clearly did not want to fulfil this order.She has referred to her terms and conditions saying that I got half of my money back as a gesture of good will.The gesture of good will would have been to ammend the 3 spelling errors.I took this opportunity to accept that she was cancelling the order and asked for a full refund as she was the one refusing to fulfil the order.She did refund half of my money to me, but has now left me without favours for my wedding with 10 days to go.As she is the one cancelling the order I would have expected a FULL refund.... but apparently not.I would NOT recommend working with this person.

Cookie Lady Mel made 2 sets of birthday cookies for me. The level of talent she possesses is unreal, she took on board my design ideas and made something even better than I could have imagined. The cookies were also really tasty and kept fresh! I will be recommending Mel over and over again, she is a phenomenal baker!
