Pretty basic food, service, and atmosphere. Can’t really see what is authentic about the food! Spent £150+ on a meal for 4 people and the food honestly was really average. Service was lousy! Atmosphere is no different to an Nandos or Harvester expected more from this establishment! Personally wouldn’t recommend

I am not a foodie and don't like to experiment with food so was a bit nervous when friends invited me for a meal here...My word! What absolutely delicious food there was!I had a chicken wok stir fry with egg fried noodles. We also shared a platter. The staff were brilliant, very polite and professional. Our meal cost about £40 each including drinks.I will define coming back!Thank you to all the lovely staff!!

I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my wife's birthday at Sabai Sabai in Harborne, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming service set the tone for the evening. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. As we indulged in every course, it became evident that Sabai Sabai is a true culinary gem. Each dish was an explosion of flavors that transported our taste buds to Thailand. From the fragrant curries to the perfectly balanced pad Thai, every bite was a delight. What truly stood out, aside from the incredible cuisine, was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely cared about ensuring that my wife's birthday was a memorable occasion. Their dedication to making us feel comfortable and valued was heartwarming.Sabai Sabai in Harborne is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that leaves a lasting impression. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience filled with flavorful dishes and exceptional service, look no further than Sabai Sabai. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to all of our friends!

Group meal of 10 at Sabai Sabai. Food was 10/10, very delicious, fresh and appealing. Opted for spare ribs - starter, and sharing menu for 2 - mains. Food was plentiful. Cocktails were cocktails with alcohol and nidely presented. Atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Venue decoration was pretty and welcoming. Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely return again.

An excellent meal. I had the sea food dumplings to start. The sauce was sweet and sour to taste. The main was I had the spicy chicken green curry with coconut rice. Fantastic spicy and flavourful. The staff warm you it’s hot before order, not that hot for a madras eater. Companions has satay / fried bags. With tamarind duck / yellow curry, only soft drinks. I tasted the tamarind duck, superb. Nice setting, good service. Highly recommended.

Absolute waste of time, money, make up and a taxi. Starters were fine overall but the golden bags were particularly nice. Mains were a disaster! The duck wok fry was extremely watery. We obviously weren't expecting a thick sauce but we expected something better than that. I ordered a prawn massaman and received a chicken one. The waitress took this back and I was then given a prawn red curry...... The manager did come over and ask if I wanted another (third attempt) main but everyone was finishing by this time and tbh I didn't see the point as they'd already given me 2 wrong dishes. All the manager did was take the main and side off, which wasn't eaten anyway? I get the gesture but it's a bit pathetic considering this ruined our night. We got a taxi from over half hour away so we could enjoy our mini Xmas party and have a drink but as I'd only eaten 3 scallops this couldn't be the case. Perhaps if it had been more dramatic like when the poor lady opposite had a tray of drinks dropped over her then we would've have more than not paying for something we didn't even get. Poor effort and ended up doing to McDonald's on the way home.
