Had to leave steak house without ordering. Received lukewarm welcome at desk, shown to seats and told a waiter would come. 15 minutes later, having failed to attract a waiter we gave up. Went to another local restaurant who welcomed us with a smile and good service.

The food was good but the dress sense of some was very poor and spoilt the ambiance. Such a shame standards have plummeted.

A second visit for another superb steak meal. This is what Sheffield has been needing for decades. Great tasting steak and sides, including the rich beef dripping gravy. Wonderful service from the staff as before. They even gave me the table I requested. Cannot fault it. Back next month.

Had a good one night stay. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. Issue with air con which seemed to be on all night. Excellent breakfast. Staff friendly and service was good. Location is in a nice part of Sheffield city centre.

I stayed for 2 nights and had breakfast only (no dining) and it was absolutely fantastic. (Rooms are good enough)

Quite a new hotel so still having some teething problems with the Aircon. Our room was lovely and big, the family quad room and was super clean. Great comfy bed, lovely pillows and linens. Staff were super friendly and great to have the option for breakfast. We parked locally as well, just a few minutes walk away. Will be back.

Miller and Carter serves really great food. Unfortunately the front of house team appear to operate in a sort of organised chaos. The only interaction we had was in taking our order and giving us the bill. No how is your meal" or any other attention. They seemed to be more interested in chatting to one another. Such a pity as the food is excellent and the room pleasant and comfortable."
