Sing and Sign Melksham: Baby / Toddler Classes

My son has just Graduated from Sing & Sign Babes. We have both throughly enjoyed the classes & cannot wait to begin Stage One next term.As a Neurodivergent (Autistic & ADHD) parent, I often struggle to get out of the house with my baby, & also to socialise. However, I have found Sing & Sign to be the perfect class for me. Ceri (who runs the classes in Melksham) helps to create an atmosphere that is super relaxed, & whilst there is plenty of opportunity to socialise, there is also no pressure to do so either. On the odd time when I have found myself running a little late, Ceri has been super understanding & truly gets that babies can be unpredictable at the best of times. The classes are structured in format, which both me & my baby benefit from greatly. It has been wonderful to see him start to recognise some of the songs and become excited in anticipation of them.He is only 6 months old at the moment, so he hasn't started signing himself just yet, however, he does regularly smile when I use the signs milk"

We love sing and sign! My 9 month old and myself have been going since he was a little over 3 months! He now recognises various signs, including milk, no and what is it!Thank you Ceri! Can’t wait for term 3!!

I have been taking my little one to Sing and Sign since he was 8 weeks old, he is now 14 months and is starting to use a range of signs to communicate. Ceri is a great teacher and wonderful with the children, she is very welcoming and approachable if you have any questions and the songs are fun and catchy for both children and parents/minders which can be repeated at home.

We love Sing and Sign! We joined following some concerns with my little one’s communication and after just one term with Ceri she has already developed so much and has started signing at home!

I have just completed a term of the Stage 1 Sing and Sign classes with my baby, we have signed up for another term and I'm planning to continue on to Stage 2 later in 2024- that should say it all really! Ceri's classes are great, I prefer a structured class so this is perfect for me. My daughter absolutely loves Mondays and has already got an understanding of some signs (especially 'milk'), she has also started to use a couple of signs- I can't wait to see her develop her signing even more, thank you Ceri!

Signing up to Sing & Sign was the best decision of my maternity leave! My 9 month old thrives in Ceri’s classes, learning practical signs - such as milk, more, nappy, what, where, all gone - alongside a range of memorable songs to sing at home. We’ve made some lovely friends in the group and I’ve even based my return to work schedule around being able to continue our Sing & Sign class! Highly recommended.

My daughter and I love these classes, easily our favourite baby class. Ceri is fantastic and it's been wonderful to see my daughter develop in each class, even if it's just her love for Jessie cat growing week after week! Great for babies and mums learning to communicate with one another, I would highly recommend.

Myself and my daughter attend this class every Monday. We have attended this class, since my daughter was 8 months old and we are still going at 18 months old. My daughter absolutely loves going to Sing and Sign and seeing Ceri every week. We both love learning new signs and apply them on a day to day basis. Now she's learning to sign more with words, which makes it easier for us to communicate with each other. Couldn't recommend this group enough.

Sing and Sign is by far our favourite baby class. We carried on after I went back to work and now my 15 month old is confidently signing and making herself understood. It is such a joy and we have so much fun! Ceri is an amazing teacher.

I’ve been taking my son to Ceri’s Sing and Sign class in Melksham since he was around 8 months old. I can see how much he loves the class and enjoys the songs, and that’s down to how super-engaging and smiley Ceri is each lesson. The songs are wonderful and the signing is easy to pick up and teach - my son now uses 8 signs on a regular basis, which helps me to understand him faster, so he gets less frustrated. 10/10 would recommend Ceri’s class, and the Melksham Campus venue is excellent too.
