Memory lane is a godsend supporting our family with mum (Joan). Lovely ladies and gents giving love and care. They go above and beyond the staff have all been there as long as mum has been going which I think speaks volumes.

The charity vs. the Business...a clear distinction has to be made. The charity is great - it provides a much needed service for those suffering from dementia! There's a multitude of activities and the hands on staff truly care for those that come in. Now the owners and business framework? It is a disgrace... It is domineered primarily by one glutenous family that's only concern is how much cash they can stuff in their pockets. This comes at the expense of both the wonderful staff and patients, as their family seemingly comes ahead of both. I've unfortunately heard tales of donations being tampered with, as well as general malpractice within the work place...so please be weary of this if you're thinking of signing up a loved one there.

Memory Lane is a much needed organisation providing care and respite for people in the community who suffer with Dementia and Alzheimer's. Both my mum and mum-in-law spent their last few declining years at Memory Lane and benefitted greatly under the care of the staff there. As a family we will be eternally grateful for the much needed help and support we received and would not think twice about recommending Memory Lane to other families struggling to cope with this cruel illness. Well done Memory Lane for being there. You do a marvellous job.

Both my grandmother's loved spending their time at Memory Lane. They enjoyed the company both of staff and other members, as well as all the activities that Memory Lane provided such as Bingo, sing alongs and days out. I can't thank them enough for all they provided for my much loved family.

I was lucky to spent the day with my sister there, we were both welcomed warmly, I found the staff team person centred, caring and responsive, I am very grateful that my sister has the opportunity to flourish within this nurturing environment.

I have volunteered at the memory cafes on many occasions. Everyone who comes to the cafe really enjoys the entertainment and bingo . I often help out by serving afternoon teas and it's a pleasure to see such happy faces.I've also helped memory lane Trust at their fundraising events such as the family fun day and strawberry tea I usually run the tombola and it's very rewarding to know that any money raised is being used to help othersMy aunt Margaret died recently from alzheimers and I know how hard it is to live with. I'm glad to be able to help others with the same disease.

Memory Lane is a wonderful facility, run by two ladies who have their own experiences of loved ones with Dementia. They offer nothing but kindness, love and understanding to the people in their care and their families. It is a joy to visit and to see the happiness and lost memories they bring to each person there. I cannot recommend Memory Lane highly enough!

I spent some time volunteering at Memory Lane earlier this week and I have to say it was such a joy. Amanda, Amy, Tracy and all of the other members of staff were so welcoming and I could tell that they loved their jobs which shone through in the service provided to their clients and how happy those clients were to be there. There is a real sense of warmth and community at Memory Lane which felt amazing to be a part of for those few hours. I can't wait to return and volunteer again. Thank you for having me!

My Mum went to Memory Lane twice a week for a couple of years before she died. I can honestly say that I wouldn't have survived without them and Mum's life wouldn't have been as full as it was. When Mum was at Memory Lane, I knew she was safe and well cared for but they gave her so much more. She returned from her days there with a smile on her face and a spring in her step. She had engaged in stimulating activities that seemed to break through her Alzheimer's and gave me my Mum back for a while. After Mum became bed bound and couldn't attend the centre, she wasn't forgotten and the care still continued. We received cream teas and lunches on occasions and during Covid lockdown, I got a break from caring, when one of the lovely carers spent time chatting to Mum while I relaxed in the garden with my daughter and grandchildren.I have not enough words to say how wonderful this place is and how caring everyone working there is. They give care, fun and real love to those living with dementia and their carers. Thank you Memory Lane.
