London Academy of Music Production

Took a two-day Logic Pro crash course. I thought it was too rush, but it turns out really rewarding. Tutors are professional and the studio is decent. It will be perfect if you have a bit of music knowledge beforehand. You will surely enjoy it!

I studied a Music Production and Technology Diploma at London AMP. Tutors were brilliant and industry professionals, facilities and use of hardware was great, and the course structure was super interesting and informative. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at London AMP.

I did the 3-day mixing/mastering crash course. I learned a lot of fantastic workflow tips and a lot of general common sense things that seem obvious when you think back. My tutor explained the idea of phase, buffer size and other fundamentals in a clear and concise way. He also showed me some fantastic Logic Pro working techniques to get the most out of the DAW and to be able to replicate some of what you can do on Pro Tools with plenty of hacks and tips. I loved his philosophies on music and his offering of how some people do things, and how he would do things differently. I appreciated that he wasn't steering me in any one direction and telling me there was one clear path and that I'd be an idiot for deviating. He explained everything, including rules of thumb and different methods for doing different things and that not all of them are necessarily wrong"

I can’t rave about this place enough!!! From the first phone call with Trystan to completing the 6 month music production course with my tutor Sam, their experience, patience, guidance and sharing of knowledge has been exceptional and literally life changing. Having been a professional musician since my late teens and originating from a classical background at The Royal College of Music before evolving into a career as a live looping artist, it was always a dream to one day write and produce my own music. Now thanks to Trystan, Sam and London AMP, dreams have become a reality and I can’t wait to go back to take the sound engineering diploma so I can meet all of musical needs in my studio at home. Plus for me personally, the way the course was structured to cover all the elements included on the syllabus, but then personalise these into what was most useful to me as a musician as well as timetabling sessions for a busy professional was just ace! To anyone who is thinking about taking any of their courses, then do it - you won’t be disappointed!!

I attended the London AMP between October 2022 and July 2023. It was an indispensable experience and would highly recommend over a standard university course, given the superior facilities and expert tuition. Tim brought me through the music production and sound engineering diploma, after which I felt very confident operating within all the areas we explored.

I'm so glad I decided to do my sound engineering course in there! My tutor Jonathan was great! Friendly, patient and professional. Every single class was really exciting. The course itself was very informative and I am pretty sure I will come back soon to do another one! I'm very satisfied!

My course was the Music Production Diploma in Ableton, and I completed it within 3 months (full-time). It was extremely insightful, speaking as someone who was brand new to the program and music production in general. I learned very quickly and efficiently with my teacher who was always so patient and kind with me, as I was completing the diploma alongside my university studies and did not have much time to dedicate to homework - it is really best to take the part-time course when you have other commitments because the diploma is very demanding in time. My teacher was very passionate and knowledgeable about the music industry and the program, and so I believe he would be a great help to anyone at any level. Thanks so much! Lots of happy memories remain from this place.

I've just finished my six-month Dj and Music Production course in the London Academy of Music Production and I've enjoyed it a lot. I had an excellent one-to-one tutor Tom" for both Dj and music production courses

This course built a foundation for me stepping into the music production world. I completed music production course with my tutor Lorenzo. Trystan and Lorenzo both super nice and patient. Lessons are flexible and what I’ve learned was really useful, I also did some sound editing lessons for my uni project and that was extra helpful.
