Lovely site well layed out. Facilities are excellent. National trust staff run tight ship , but that benefits site. Great walks dog friendly.

Tremendous site. 5 stars for everything. Beautiful site, well maintained, facilities are posh as, staff are fantastic as well. Will definitely be going again... highly recommended.

Excellent site, can't fault it at all. Great welcome, excellent toilet facilities, good size pitches, great walking and cycling in the area. Will visit again.

A great campsite. Very clean and well kept. Lovely camping pods that are well equipped. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. We met some really wonderful staff here too, very friendly and informative. High recommend a visit.

How do you give somewhere a score of 6 out of 5?Brilliant campsite all round. It's well maintained with excellent facilities, lovely and quiet at night and friendly, helpful staff.The campsite is attached to the tea rooms (open) and working water mill (sadly still closed) and you can access the mill pond and river from it. Great fun if you have a boat or inflatable.The kids had a great time, cycling round the campsite, cooking marshmallows and splashing around in the water.We stayed in a pod (wooden hut) which was excellent and includes microwave, fridge and underfloor heating!.One of the best campsites we've been to anywhere.

Waterclose Meadows Campsite
Well the weather forecast was going to be dry and warm, so we looked for somewhere near to stay, and this sleeps 4 pod came up, at £155 for two nights. It was great very clean and the toilet and shower block was spotless and the shower was very good. A great base for cycling or walking to St Ives along the river in a tree lined tunnel. You can also cycle across beautiful ancient meadows to Godmanchester and Huntingdon, check out the Oliver Cromwell Museum . Two very good pubs in Houghton only a quarter of a mile walk from the campground which both serve food.

Beautiful campsite, a real gem by the river and kept to an exceptionally high standard. Very friendly and helpful staff. Right next to the river and easy access if you want to swim or launch a paddle boat. You can also hire boats within 100m of the site. Truly relaxing place.

Camped there for 2 nights. Great staff, spotless toilet block and well spaced pitches. Adjacent to the river where you can hire a canoe, brilliant fun. Highly recommended.

Waterclose Meadows Campsite
Brilliant site in an ideal location just outside the village. Next to interesting watermill and lovely tea shop. Toilet block kept very clean and everyone involved very knowledgeable and helpful. Lovely quiet path to St. Ives and Cambridge and Ely easy to visit
