Nothing special other than unusual to have a wilderness so near centre of town. Paths have been improved but more work required to allow easier wheelchair access.

Lovely place to walk your dog. There is a car park beside the football pitches on the beach side. Cross into a sheltered wooded walk, can get really muddy so wear appropriate footwear, our dog loves it!

Went for a beach clean, it's a nice place to walk around and find rocks and seaglass.

Lovely walk through The Nature Reserve. Away from the traffic. Lots of interesting birds to spot. Good safe place for walking the dog.

It's a small narrow piece of wildland which is parallel to Broughty Ferry beach at the top.On one side the railway runs. And the other side the road that runs along the beach .People walk their dogs, or like me ,cut through on the way home. It's got brambles, trees..shrubs and its largely left to nature! It its a windy day it takes you out of the wind that whistles along the beach.Lots of birds.. butterflies'And behind some trees is a very shallow pond....more like a large puddle) which at the moment is squirming with tadpoles. Its just nice and quiet (occasionally shattered by a passing train). I like trains too.and also it'sSheltered. There are two paths carving their way through . And it comes out to the pleasant gardens at the top.Half way there's a little tunnel that runs onto the beach road.I feel comfortable with the freedom in this little peice of nature.

Great wee place just to have a sit and relax in the bonny gardens. Just let time pass for an hour or so

Beautiful windswept tidal beach. Views of the Firth with varied birdlife and sometimes dolphins. Excellent Glass Pavilion bar and restaurant close by. Well worth a walk.
