I've spent the last year going to Maunders Schools of Popular Music for drum lessons with Joel, and I couldn't have asked for a better drum teacher. He is knowledgeable, creative, encouraging, and he always teaches with patience and enthusiasm.I hadn't even sat behind a drum kit before my first lesson with Joel and I can only thank him for getting me to where I am now. I'd encourage anyone thinking of picking up drum sticks to give them a call.Maunders is a great music school for people of all ages and I'm happy to have found the place.

I came to Maunders School of Music looking to learn how to play the piano and to learn theory to accompany my own music production and had started weekly lessons with Ketaki just over a year ago now.Ketaki has been a great teacher and has tailored my learning experience to suit the styles of music I'm interested in every step of the way and has been able to apply her knowledge to help me with writing and improving my own compositions too which has been incredibly helpful!Really happy to have found Maunders and Ketaki as it has been a great experience for me and I feel I've made real progress since starting there.

Starting taking guitar lessons from Neil a few months ago and have nothing but praise to give. He is friendly whilst professional and offers students a positive environment to learn and grow in.The limited interactions I've had with the other teachers has also been positive and they all seem friendly also.My first time even touching a guitar was only a few months ago and now I can play a few songs, know some chords and have generally been enjoying the journey.

I started getting vocal lessons here a few months ago and as a super shy and introverted person I was extremely nervous and scared but Edy is so genuine and personable that he made me feel really at ease and I think its going to still take me a while to gain confidence with singing but I really believe that I am being taken care of and receiving immense help towards becoming more comfortable with singing in general. The school is kind of cozy and makes it feel slightly less daunting for someone like me who greatly lacks confidence. I am happily going to be continuing my lessons here as long as possible. Thank you

I used to go to this school and unfortunately I had to move to London so I couldn’t go this amazing place where everyone was super polite and kind.It’s a big space where there is enough room for everyone.If I can have lesson again with this music school, will def choose here for sure. Hope many people know this lovely place to start their music career.

I've recently taken up the drums and Joel is incredibly patient with me! I feel he's upskilling me fast with lots of different elements, and builds the lessons well so I leave feeling I've accomplished something new! I would recommend the school and Joel for sure.

Been having guitar lessons with Neil for a few months and the experience is thoroughly enjoyable. He teaches thegenres, bands and songs I want to learn at my pace and tailors the lessons to suit my needs. The environment is very professional and relaxed with a vast selection of equipment and resources. Neil is an excellent teacher and musician and would highly recommend him and his staff to anybody looking for music lessons from beginners to more experienced players.

I have drum lessons with Joel and I cannot recommend him or the school enough. Everyone is super friendly and Joel is a fantastic teacher, he always makes adjustments for my learning needs and always makes the lessons fun! I would highly recommend!

Lovely school with a great friendly atmosphere <3Joel is an amazing teacher, I’ve never touched drums before and he’s really helped me gain confidence on them while learning the technical side. Even accommodating to my different learning style due to my ADHD :)I love my weekly sessions, just what’s needed >.<

I started having screaming/heavy vocal lessons here with Joel and couldn’t recommend him enough. I started with no experience and have come out the other end feeling confident in my abilities. Joel is attentive, thoughtful and an all round great teacher. I was a bit self conscious at first but I was made to feel welcome and able to let go of the initial anxiety with the tailored and fun lesson plans. I also feel like I have learned techniques which I will find useful for years to come.
