Ian and Helen have been instrumental in helping my daughter pass her bluecoat entrance exam. They are very well experienced with working with children of this age and deliver tuition in a friendly and accessible manner which takes the stress out of learning.Their professional approach is second to none, the classes, the mock exams and the feedback they provide is excellent.Helen tutored my other daughter 10 years ago who also passed the bluecoat exam so the experience is there.

My son loves these sessions, he enjoys going, learning with other children and really likes Ian and Helen. His maths teacher has noticed a significant improvement at school and his confidence has really grown . The sessions are also good value making it affordable for families

I can highly recommend both Ian and Helen. They are brilliant tutors - very knowledgeable, up to date, friendly and approachable. Even though we found them relatively late on in the 11+ prep period, their input and tuition was invaluable. The homework they provide and feedback from the mock examinations is incredibly useful. They certainly played a massive part in my son's success in his entrance exam.

Ian tutors my 9 year old and is exceptional in making tricky maths topics easier to understand. He provides regular feedback and is very supportive during his online lessons. I like his method of teaching because he encourages the child to break down tricky maths problems in to simple steps thus making the problem easier to understand and solve.

Ian and Helen did a great job in helping my Daughter prepare for her 11+ exams. The lessons were very thorough. Weaknesses were identified and targeted homework was provided to improve understanding.During the run up to the exam, Ian and Helen held weekly mock exams. This improved exam technique, timing and any nerves my Daughter had about the exam were soon gone.The teaching style is enthusiastic and relatable.I would highly recommend them to any parent considering the 11+ for they child. Sign up for a classes ASAP.Finally, my Daughter did very well in her exams. She was offered a place at the Blue Coat and passed the Wirral assessment too!

Excellent organisation, speedy results. Would recommend. Ian is an excellent maths tutor who builds a great rapport with the student and explains difficult concepts well. Helped both our boys through the Bluecoat exam.
