Runners Need Chester

Had a gait analysis this morning with a woman called Gemma. After being videoed and analysed on the treadmill we went through different shoes that would suit the way I run and what shoe size would be best for myself. Very professional, could tell she ran herself. Very polite and understanding. Ordered my new shoes there and then. Appreciate your help Thankyou so much!

So visited today and was disappointed to find how much they have reduced the choice of footwear. The shop is now totally biased to clothing not footwear which is ironic as what do runners need? Decent shoes... Either they are planning on shutting or the chief sales director is an idiot.

Excellent shop with the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. I had to return a pair of running shoes (a very good brand) that had inexplicably split after only four months' moderate use. I had no receipt but they tracked down the transaction and immediately replaced them with a brand new pair. I don't think I'd have got that sort of response from one of the cheapo 'warehouse' retailers!

Friendly staff. Ross was very helpful whilst I was trying on shoes. Not a hint of pushy selling which I appreciated - rather, knowledgeable and happy answering questions. Seemed to have a good range of brands and models (Saucony, Brooks, New Balance, Nike, Hoka and others). They stock half sizes. Prices matched or beat the internet.

First time buying running shoes. James was amazing. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The gait analysis was easy and I'm very please with the shoes I got.

Visited today and was shockedBy how little stock was on the shelves and how poor the selection was………….runners need more than what you have! Save your money on parking and buy what you need online instead!

Myself and my partner returned to Runners Need today after having a great experience a few months ago when we first visited. Today my partner had a gait analysis by Gemma. She is amazing at her job and so knowledgeable and just a lovely person. I had a gait analysis carried out a few months back by Gemma and her colleague who is also wonderful. The staff are so knowledgeable and are so passionate about running and just get it. I will be back again to buy more running supplies and runners. I just love chatting to these guys as they are so lovely and passionate. They gave me so many tips about running already. Keep up the amazing work. We travel to these guys from Liverpool and its worth the trip.
