Extremely slow service! Too many menus! Why have three menus? It's too much. Waitress brang starters and never returnee for 45 mins after we had finished. Did not replace cutlery used for starters and when main meal finally came she still did not bring cutlery! Had to take off another table.Some of the starters have very strange dressings, two of us tried it and both agreed it did not taste nice and didn't go with the type of food we had.Fish and chips however were lovely....Improvement needed on service!

We came down on holiday and thought it looked nice from the outside so went in for food sadly it was quiz night the quiz started after we ordered food, it was really loud so we couldn't have a conversation, the girl that served us was not helpful she got the drinks wrong and generally looked like she didn't want to serve us, she also forgot to take the 33% off the bill, the fish wasn't cod but it was some sustainable fish my mum didn't like it we had the burger that was ok and the pie was ok to the dessert wasn't very nice we left it we had the banoffee cheesecake, the menu was very limited I am sorry to say we won't return.

Food was really nice and waitress was really helpful and friendly. We did have to wait nearly an hour for our Sunday roast though. One of the staff members who seemed in charge of the shift was really rude to her co workers which was off putting to see and very unprofessional and was very unfriendly with us too.

Amazing food! I ordered the plant burger which was really nice and the fries were so yummy!Everyone else who ordered loved their food and finished it all! The puddings sounded great but the mains filled us up!Really big space, we needed a quiet table and were able to book one that was quiet!Definitely would go again

A nice pub. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Good food. Prices could be better. But as an occasional place to eat it is good. Plenty of parking and easy to book online.My only small grievance is that whilst the restaurant is big, when visiting recently early one evening with the restaurant very empty I was seated as a table of four at the furthest table in a corner at the back of the restaurant. Then another couple were seated later next to us. It seemed odd why.

What an absolute gem this pub was! Absolutely beautifully presented throughout (food included). Inventive dishes, lovely wine. All in all this place is amazing. Don't be put off by interior photos as this definitely did not reflect how the place actually looked. It was cosy yet not so packed that you couldn't hear anything. The food was delicious. All in all, very happy!

The service was very poor. As there was only 5 people in the pub. We ordered 4 slices of toast stone cold and not even toasted. The manager gave us a refund no apology. Absolutely pig ignorant. Such a nice pub and we even talked about having a meal there in the evening. Such a shame.

The car park should have been a strong sign! Yes it was empty, on a Sunday at peak hours! I’m not usually hard to please, but I was sorely disappointed. The beef roast dinner was beyond mediocre. It came out within 4 minutes of ordering. I’m pretty sure the potatoes were aunt Bessie’s. Absolutely no pride in their food! Such a disappointment as I was really craving a roast dinner. I could have gone to a Toby carvery and received better food and service at a fraction of the price!

Fantastic place for a lovely dinner out. Managed to get a table last minute. Food was delicious and the lady serving us (Sophie) was so sweet and friendly. Overall would highly recommend to anyone!
