Richard is very knowledgable, providing us with a very accurate free estimate of the value of our late relative’s stamp collection and explaining the various options open to us. The collection subsequently sold at auction and our funds were delivered a month later. This service was a great help to us as we know nothing about stamps or how they may be best disposed of.

South West Philatelic Stamp Auctions
South West Philatelic Auctions are held conveniently on the outskirts of Exeter where there is ample free parking. The auction is popular so it is advisable to arrive early for viewing. It is a family run business and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is usually a good selection of lots some of which can be obtained at reasonable prices. The next auction in December is a special anniversary and, I am sure, will be well worth attending.

When I inherited my grandfather's stamp collection I had no idea what to do with it. Richard was really helpful, telling me what was in the collection and explaining what my options were. It was only a small, hit and miss collection, but Richard still took it to auction for me, kept me posted on what was happening and then put a very welcome cheque in the post! I was hugely grateful to him for his time and advice.
