Venus Supermarket (Bolton)

Great place to eat, food is cooked fresh, fantastic and a wide variety. Staff are friendly and place is clean, welcoming and great atmosphere.Oh and a great supermarket that is well worth a visit

The food is outstanding! There's lots of choice and it is fresh food prepared fast rather than fast food! The prices are really reasonable for the quality and taste as well as the portion sizes (I brought home half my meal and ate the next day for lunch!) The aubergine and potatoes are lovely and the rice was soft and fluffy. The fresh bread put onto tables was a lovely gesture, and unexpected. There was plenty of seating and the place was really clean and had a nice ambience (I loved the lighting too!) The car park on site was very convenient too which made the visit easier. The food is ordered at the main checkout area and menus displayed on boards here, along with prices, with a drinks counter nearby. It'd be nice to have some printed out menus for tables also, even if orders aren't taken from tables by waiting staff.

Rude waiter… She took my bottle of white sauce and said I needed to take it to another table. I said I was using it and she said the other customer wanted it too. I asked why they don't offer more of these sauce bottles but she didn't answer me, she just said that I should give her the bottle. Then I realized that the other customers spoke the same language as her and so I understood that she gave preference to them.

The establishment has on site parking, quite spaceous inside. Service was quick,food not too bad. It's family friendly however it leads me to a criticism. Seeming it's family friendly it has high chairs of which all are BROKEN. It takes best part of 10 minutes to fix said chairs thus no valid reason why they should remain broken.

Just had a meal at Venus. A huge menu of Turkish food. Our meals were delicious. Staff are pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is immaculate. We will certainly visit again. Thank you Venus.

Undoubtedly, this branch of Venus, is one of the best Turkish restaurants in G.Manchester.You can find a wide variety of fabulous Turkish meals and salads, including Turkish breakfast, 7 types of Kebabs, lamb and chiken Doners, 4 types of Turkish pizza, different types of salads and also Rice, Soup and Kallepache.All of foods are 'Halal' and served as a meal and come with Turkish bread, salad and chips. The most important factor is that all of Kebabs and Doners are fresh and prepared daily or maximum one day before, by an experienced Turkish chef. Delivery is not available, but you can call and make your orders for collection.About staff, they are really patient, friendly and helpful, but like other restaurants you should not expect amazing service at busy weekends.The restaurant environment is really tidy and well-decorated for family or friends gathering and celebration.And about the Supermarket, you can find different famous Turkish and Persian brands, and also there are butchry, confectionary (Turkish and Persian sweets) and bakery.

Great shop... Fresh bakery is lovely... Has a small restaurant attached to the side whihc serves lovely Turkish Cuisine such as mixed shawarma, ribs, kebabs etc. Lovely and always fresh. The Chicken Shawarma with chips is delicious and the portion size is enough for 2... Comes with bread, fresh salad and chips! Kids love it too
