Bellessa Lounge

Well I started using this salon about 10 months ago and whilst the premises and staff are lovely it frustrates me to say they often provide conflicting advice on hair, seems to be a high turnover of staff personally have experienced colour issues, product issue, wonky hair cut issues didn't realise how bad until I got an opinion elsewhere and it was explained to me in detail how my layers are cut wonky the products I was advised to use are not suitable for thick wavy hair and have dried it out to much, have given the salon and team numerous attempts to correct and resolve things and the final straw being when you raise your concerns with the owner being told she suggests I find an alterative salon, despite spending an absolute fortune on hair services and products, very upsetting when all my friends, family and work colleagues highlight they have never known in so many years my hair to look so bad since using this salon, I know i am not the only customer to have such concerns but others are afraid o raise their concerns based on how I have been treated, I am no expert in hair products and colouring and hence gaining further advice from othersalons. I feel I have been poorly treated and feel others should have this information available to take their own informed decision.

Amie booked me in for a hair wash, hair cut and olaplex treatment along with a blow dry afterwards. I can honestly say from the moment I stepped in the salon everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Such a clean salon nicely presented! Amie did my treatments and she was so professional and made great conversation! Her skills at hair cutting and styling are fantastic and gave me exactly what I asked for when stepping in the salon. My hair felt amazing afterwards :) highly recommend! Already booked in for another treatment next month!

My nails was done by Georgia and the nail arts were beautiful. Georgia was lovely, professional and treated my nails with care. Very please with the service.Amelia did my 16 year old daughter’s nails, she is also lovely and professional.I also had my haircut and styled by Jessi, beautifully done, highly recommended

I have been coming to Bellessa Lounge(formally Calla Studio)for the past 13 yearsI have found the team very professional and very knowledgeable in the services that they offer.They are always welcoming ,and go above and beyond.I wouldn’t go anywhere else now.Charlotte the new business owner has lots of new ideas for us all to benefit from……..exciting times ahead.My daughter is now at the age to enjoy hair and nail treatments.so she has become a regular client now.Can’t wait to see what future plans that Charlotte @ team at Bellessa Lounge have in store.The nail colour selection is insane

This was my first time at Bellessa Lounge and it was great from start to finish. Amie was really attentive and took her time discussing what I wanted done. She made recommendations and gave me a fantastic haircut that I am really happy with. My daughter has also been since and was equally impressed Thank you very much, highly recommended.

Recently changed management; we would routinely take our now 3yr old son here for a hair cut where staff have previously been very patient and helpful in cutting hair for small children.When we arrived no one greeted us but eventually someone came over to say that who we were waiting for was running late. After a 15 minute wait we left after unsuccessfully trying to book another appointment.Appointment based businesses need to run on good time keeping and if for any reason this isn't possible, good communication is critical.I would not expect this kind of service for me or my wife and while I understand that sometimes teething stages happen, I definitely wouldn't ask my toddler to wait when we've booked an appointment.

Had my hair done here just before and no problem the young lad in there made me feel that I was a nuisance and he didn’t talk much except to other staff members.I don’t think he works there now!They did a lovely job of my hair so I booked an appointment for my daughters hair for her birthday and stated this was a birthday gift.The day before her appointment I got a call to cancel her appointment because staff had left they could not offer an alternative. I had already paid.I also emailed the owner for refund as I was over charged as I paid deposit on line when I booked my hair she didn’t even reply I had to call the salon and spoke to someone who sorted it out.It seems that staff turnover is high there at the moment always new staff.

I’ve recently started coming to Bellessa lounge, I’ve had my nails done with Emilia who has been fantastic and today I had a lovely massage with Georgia. She was really informative on the issues causing knots in my back and used the perfect amount of pressure, very relaxing and accommodating. Both ladies are really friendly and I recommend them both highly! Thank you Georgia and Emilia.

I've been coming to the salon for 7 years, since I moved down here. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the salon is always clean and tidy and has a good atmosphere. I have had several treatments over the years, both beauty and hair, and have always been fully informed of what to expect and always treated with care and courtesy. I would certainly recommend Bellessa Lounge with no hesitation.
