Tried to ring your branch from Cape Town to discuss my mothers death After talking to an automated voice for a couple of minutes I got placed in a queue which was over 5 mins long. Why on Earth don’t you put an email address on your site ?

Half hour queue to speak to an adviser to be told to take a seat and wait a further 30 minutes to see a different adviser just to change address details! I will be closing all accounts with Halifax, terrible customer service. The only 'Xtra' they give is for wasting customers time!Employ more staff!

Visited the branch on a Saturday, only one person serving on the counter, queue of people waiting to be served whilst about 3 other members of staff were walking around, one carrying an iPad, one a clipboard and the other, well not sure what she was doing. Bad customer service, surely someone should of taken the initiative to jump on the counter and queue bust! Staff just looked unprofessional, multi coloured nails, big earrings, coloured shoes, no matching uniform, do they have standards anymore. What’s happened Halifax? Someone needs to sort it out. This branch used to pride itself on being and looking professional.

Got diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and generalised anxiety disorder had trouble finding work so phoned to see if they could help me with my mortgage, pretended to be really concerned but at the end no help whatsoever terrible company.

Staff was rude, one of the staff member was doing her hair and chewing gum while talk to me. No one asked how can they help us, let us sit and ask around.

I go there every time if I have any problems with money as my bank account is in this bank. Usually on lunch time there is a lot people, but the people who is working in there are very helpful and I have no complains about them. Could say they have almost highest standards of customer service.

Basically they need learn words like start for I like ibuprofen or Internet. Then finally they can type the correct letters and I start resolving all stuff for the phone.
